The quality of care of this establishment has drastically decreased from the time I've begun seeing My PCP 'til present day. The PCP herself is great, however the staff completely overshadows that factor. They also change policies and procedures that affect their patients and don't have the shred of decency to call, electronically notify or send letters as using so. I scheduled an emergency, last minute appointment and would arrive late but before their 15 minute window to be seen as it was quite literally unexpected. I get there and the Medical assistant in the most uncaring manner, advised that they had changed the policy to a 10 minute window without notification, and that I could not be seen today. Not a single shred of empathy nor an apology. It's disgusting. She then proceeds to tell me that they tried to call me and that I hung up the phone, when I was called, I asked her what phone number she called and she read me a phone number that I have never had. I tried to show her my call log and she didn't even bother to look, she unprofessionally said "I mean, we still can't see you" This is who they have working in the front desk.. She then proceeded to say it's not her fault they don't have the correct phone number, and I said that's odd because I provided you the correct phone number the last time I was here, and I've never had that phone number, so who's fault is it? She had nothing to say...
Rebecca Lobb is a great PCP herself staff however will make you rethink seeing her. I suggest she gets those...
Read moreI wasn't originally going to post one star, because I thought I may have been connected with an inexperienced/unknowledgeable nurse, but it happened twice: I called to inquiry that they do xrays at this location (I am unfamiliar with how the UPMC branches work as I have recently started seeing doctors here). They instantly transfer me to a robot for Quest Diagnostic. I have never dealt with Quest Diagnostic before, so I assumed the robot that was scheduling my appointment was doing it for a place that offered xrays. I go there and they only do bloodwork. Fine, maybe it was either my mistake or the nurse misheard me or something. I call again (which is a week later from the original call) and state, "I am wanting to know if this place specifically does xrays and if I can come in/create an appointment for it." Again I am transferred to the same robot and it is having me schedule an appointment at the exact same place that denied me because they "only do bloodwork." Maybe I am misunderstanding something, but either this location is not familiar with connecting me to the right people, or Quest Diagnostic did not want to help me for...
Read moreI've been able to receive quick care here more than once and the people are friendly but they really should list that they don't take walk ins of its anywhere close to 7pm. I tried to get attention/antibiotics for early stage cellulitis rushing there straight from work (even called ro say i was a few minutes away at 645) arrived at 6:54pm. Their lights were out and they told me they could take me the next day or I could go to the ER (because why shouldn't I pay $750 copay for an antibiotic script?). I asked if they could recommend somewhere I could go if I couldn't wait til the next day and ER is the only thing they could tell me. Thank God for smart phones! I was able to find a UPMC Urgent care open until 9pm. Still very disappointed they don't honor...
