Once, I had enjoyed bringing my dog to this place, but the quality has went down tremendously. I have a small dog, and once the small dogs were able to run around in a room and play together. My dog enjoyed this space. Keep in mind, they have a total of three other dog rooms as well. Recently, it was decided that small dogs should only get a small area of the room and dedicate most of the space to larger dogs (again, they have two other large rooms for large dogs). Ever since then, when I check the camera they have, all the little dogs are just sitting there in their small space watching the bigger dogs and the caretaker interact with the bigger dogs. Every now and then, the little dogs got some recognition, but were entirely ignored for the most part and just sat there bored gazing at the other dogs through the fence. When I saw this, I felt horrible and was counting down the time I could rescue my dog because I can tell she was unhappy and hadn't enjoyed walking into the building for some time now. They went up in prices, but the quality for the care of smaller dogs is horrible. So, I'll say, if you have a larger dog, you might enjoy this place as there are many rooms for them to play in. If you have a smaller dog, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Dogtopia has been nothing short of a dream for Atlas, our Alaskan Malamute. After trying other daycares that never quite felt right, we found Dogtopia, and it was an instant match. The staff greeted him with warmth and care that was immediately evident, and now, nearly every single day, he’s excited to go. He’s treated with so much love and attention, and they make sure he feels comfortable and happy, which is incredibly important since he didn’t always fit in elsewhere. We feel such peace of mind knowing that Atlas is not just cared for but truly adored by the wonderful team at Dogtopia. It’s more than just a daycare for him—it’s his home away from home.

Called on a Friday to request boarding for 2 days later. I was relieved to find out they had an opening from Sunday to the following Saturday. However, a required “meet-n-greet” needed to happen before they could have him stay. I scheduled the meet-n-greet for the next day and asked to reserve the boarding slot.

After driving 30 minutes to the location, I was told that the policy was no boarding until after 3 days of day care at the facility. This was not told to me by the representative on Friday. I asked to speak to a manager after explaining my predicament.

The representative went to the back after expressing she would try to contact the manager. She came back 3 minutes later and said no exception could be made to the policy. Now I am in the position where I cannot find boarding after losing 24 hours of searching time. I have no flexibility on my travel dates and will be scrambling to find a solution.

This was a very poor experience and concerns me that the training is lacking, overall. I hope this review helps emphasize to management the importance of training and policy administration. Whether or not a manager was consulted is another...

A few months back, I was interested in daycare for my puppy and called on a Tuesday to schedule the meet and greet. Was all set to go on that Saturday at 1pm - got the confirmation email even. Rearranged my schedule and drove the 20min there. One girl at the front desk started checking me in and asking for shot records. After about ten minutes, the other girl says oh, by the way, we don’t do meet and greets at 1pm because it’s nap time. I asked why was it scheduled and showed them my confirmation email, she just shrugged. I asked why no one called me all week to let me know. She said we tried to call you this morning - I had no missed calls or messages. Then I asked why didn’t you tell me when I walked in, instead of wasting my time and getting my dog all checked in? She shrugged again and said sorry, but you can come back at 4pm for the meet and greet. No thanks. If you can’t handle a meet and greet, I don’t trust you to watch my dog. After having my time so disrespected right off the bat? I will...
