Meijers itself was great store well stocked found what I was looking for on the other hand the forest is another story waited in line behind one car for quite a while in the middle of the day not at closing time when I got to the window the gentleman told me he was too busy and not taking any other cars which meant now I had to park my car handicap spot of course walking waiting another line to get waited on next time set behind two cars in the drive-in for over 15 minutes mind you it was 7:20 I believe the pharmacy closes at 8:00 so I figured I'd be in good shape after about the 15 minute Mark 10 minutes before the pharmacy closed not one car moved not one of the same thing that happened I pulled out of line parked in the handicap went back inside again at that point the other car in line pulled out to go inside we did get waited on before the store or pharmacy closed to my surprise there was four clerks including a trainee inside the store of course here's the kicker when I got ready to leave my car sitting right outside the doors the gentleman locked the doors because now it was eight 20 maybe I explained to him I needed to get to my car in a handicap spot just outside the door he instructed me to walk what seemed like a half a mile to the other end of the store to use those doors to go out to come back to my car which was right in front of me at those doors that he locked so if this was a marketing technique it worked because now I had to go to the end where the groceries are and of course to make the best out of a bad situation I bought a few groceries pay for them proceeded to go out of the store which was seemingly a half a mile from my car to my surprise I walk out of the store and now it's raining this newly remodeled store doesn't have an overhang that will protect you from the rain from one end of the store to the other conclusion if the pharmacy is at one end of the store and most people going to the pharmacy are either sick or ailing why would you lock that door and make those people walk all the way down and back I'm just saying mind you it wasn't 9:00 yet this was on Tuesday October the 11th 2022 have some consideration for the...
Read moreIt's one of the worst Meijer stores!!!!. I always send money through them to Iraq through Western Union. Last time they had rude costumer service, he was very angry and rude. He was talking on the phone and yelling while I was waiting!!!. I gave him all the information he asked!. The people in Iraq said that they didn't receive anything, and the Western Union there said they didn't receive any money!!. I called them and told them, they transferred me to another person, and this person was very rude!! She rudely said something I didn't understand, I said I don't understand you! She hanged up on me!!!!. After that I called them again and explained the same issue, they said, you should call Western Union, not us!. I asked if the phone number of Western Union is the same that on the receipt. He said no, this is Meijer phone number! And it says Western Union on the receipt!!. He gave him phone number for Western Union, and I called them. It was phone number for a different place!!!.
And when I called Western Union, they said that the money was sent to USA not Iraq!!!. So it was the costumer service mistake!! And I told him I want to send money to Iraq!!!.
And I had to wait very long on the line for costumer service desk, for the last few times I came!!! And rude consumer service!! And overall, they don't do good job!!!.
Also, their pharmacy is bad, and on the phone they say something, and when I go physically, they say something else!! And not everyone on track of the same thing.... . It's the worst Meijer costumer...
Read moreI had a very uncomfortable experience today at meijer while shopping with my dad and 5 month old daughter. We both went into the “new” self checkout area and after I got done ringing up my few items I had that I paid for, my dad started ringing his up..while he was ringing I was paying attention to my daughter and when I look up a woman is literally HOVERING over his shoulder staring at the screen while my dad is ringing his items. She proceeds to go back to her section while nodding “yes” to the woman who was in charge of our area. After my dad gets done ringing his items and paying for them, the woman who was originally in charge of our area comes up to me and claims she didn’t see a receipt print out for my order and that she needs to see it. Then the other woman who was hovering over my dad came and cornered us. I pulled my receipt out knowing for a fact she seen me pay and then told her “I would think y’all would have seen us pay since you were all over my dad in our space” and then the woman who hovered over us says “I SURE WAS”. No apologies, nothing, from these two idiotic people.
I would think you would ask for a receipt instead of literally invading someone’s space and staring at the screen while they’re ringing up items. This woman was closer to my dad than I was and the fact we got attitude after proving they’re suspicion was wrong with no apology is what shows me how unprofessional these people are.
