Placerville Speedway — Attraction in Placerville

We've been to the Placerville Speedway many times for races and other track events. I was particularly impressed by the Malicious Monster Trucks event that we attended last night. I didn't see the option to buy tickets in the handicapped section and was afraid they'd sell out, so I bought the ones that I could, but was worried I might not be able to climb up the bleachers to my seat, as I do have some mobility restrictions. I contacted the Placerville Speedway and they were so sweet and accommodating! The kind lady that I spoke with exchanged the tickets that I bought for more accessible seating and then gave me helpful instructions on where I could park my scooter for easy access. I was able to enjoy the event comfortably and without any issues. The show was fantastic, security was in force and keeping a good handle on everything and even the food stands were operating quickly and efficiently. Went to the 4th of July race and it was incredibly oversold. The staff was overwhelmed with complaints but were so rude and unhelpful. I've been coming here since I was a kid so I knew blankets reserved seats but given the circumstances, they should not have allowed people to hold so many empty seats. When asking about overflow I was told it was standing room only. So the options were stand on the ramps walking up to the bleachers where you couldn't see the track or for my party, to pay over $100 more to sit in the pit bleachers. After speaking with multiple employees, I was given a refund. Not including parking. I really drove an hour on the 4th of July to be belittled by staff with my family. They Also Had E-Mail Sign Up Sheets To Learn More About Their Companies.
