Techy Plainfield IN (Walmart) — Attraction in Plainfield

My experience with Techy was far from ideal. I went in to have my ps5 disc drive repaired. They had me come in and get it back and charged over a hundred bucks. What they failed to say was that not only did they not fix it, but broke it worse than when I had it and knew it wasn't fixed. I went back in and had to dispute it with their boss that I wanted a refund. He said he couldn't give me one because it had new parts on it and I didn't own it. What? They told me to come back in when the tech was there which was 4 hours later. So I came back after arguing with them wanting them to put in my disc drive. I came back and talked to the tech and he said the other tech was late and they put me on speaker and the tech told me to come back at 5. I told them that wasn't happening. So the tech came in and put it back in but also pulled the power cord out and almost corrupted my save data. They didn't even know how to open the menu on the ps5. I tried to get a refund from them and they said they would but after waiting a couple of weeks I never received it so I had to dispute it. Short story do not ever go here. Not sure why this place is getting good reviews I had nothing but issues for weeks for them to fix my son's switch . He told me they do free diagnostics but told me what it was that was wrong and then after pre paying for part he called when he got it said that wasn't what was wrong that it was something else then tells me it will be more money which I said fine get it done I already invested money at this point then when said it was supposed to be done I called and he said part would still be few more days then he called on that day and said the part was lost in shipping and then almost total of two weeks later he says it's done and when I pick it up he failed to inform me he had to clear all data and factory reset it which would be fine if it needs to be done but would have liked to had chance to save some of my son's data to another switch because now he is upset .
