Mattress Firm Plainfield — Hotel in Plainfield

Absolutely do not recommend this company and location. There are no fixed prices; the "sales" seem to come and go at will or whether employees want to close the sale. There are so many added fees it is difficult to keep track of what your total cost will be. Employees don't keep the posted hours. I waited 15 minutes on Saturday at 10 am until I gave up. There is no consistency with questions answered. I called to exchange a mattress within the tryout period and was told there would be no additional cost by one employee, then during my visit to schedule pick up and delivery another employee insisted another $250 was due. Employees are not careful with record keeping. This employee said there was no record of my call so he didn't believe me about what another employee promised. After paying yet another fee I looked at my receipt only to see I owed another 54 cents. I turned around and asked the employee what was going on. He replied, "don't worry about it.". I fully expect someone to call soon insisting I drive back over there to give them another 54 cents. Seriously, just order a bed from the manufacturer or pick it up at Costco. I hope to never see the inside of that trashy...

The Sleep Expert Michael Johnson was the only one in the store and from time we walked in the store until we left, he provided EXCELLENT and the best service my husband and I experienced in a long time. We made the mistake of going to the Roomplace a week earlier and purchased a power base and Beautyrest Hybrid, not realizing the deals we 'should" have taken at the firm. We explained our situation to Michael and that we were trying to price match or figure out a way to get out of deal and return the mattress at Roomplace. Michael was EXTREMELY helpful and went above and beyond trying to help us figure out the best plan. In the end, because we had financed the terms with Roomplace and could not get a refund, we were not able to get another mattress with the firm. But Michael still treated us with superb customer service, looking up prices, at our Roomplace contract to see what he could do. Even though we didn't walk out the store with a purchase, he deserves a commission just for his kindness and knowledge. THE NEXT time we buy a bed, no question hands down, we're going back to see Michael. He was awesome! Thank you for hiring people like...

We recently purchased a high-dollar bed that moves up down all around king size and we were told that we were going through a company called Progressive we were told that we had 12 months same as cash and the amount we paid a weekly fee of $115 weigh past I'm saying over $1,000 past the amount agreed upon they lost the paperwork recently we renovated our home we came across the original paperwork not only did they get us for over $1,000 but they will not resend that money in other words oh well tough luck don't ever go to Mattress Firm and get a bed or whatever product they're selling through a company called Progressive as a contract States you've been approved by Progressive leasing for 2850 on a maximum 12 month lease when I called up them wondering why I paid over $3,300 and it's still going they said that they only do 6 month leases so basically the contract says 12 months they say 6 months we were lied to from the get-go and because they knew we didn't have the contract until recently we just found it they took advantage of us will not patronize there again and I suggest you be wary if...
