My response is I said suggested parking spots referring to the ones you pointed out after you walked up on me from behind. I also told you at that time I was not told about parking in front of my room during check in…..keep up with your lies old man. I think you on meth how do you respond in such anger over a parking rule or on crack because I thought you were a homeless man and you are offensive and prejudice truth be told. You don’t have an apologetic element in your being!!! Go pick a burial plot and crawl in it.
My original review::::: I read the reviews but stopped by regardless of the negative feedback. Day one was the total opposite of the negative reviews. Day two I renewed my room instead of the unknown possibilities of a hotel stay in Greenwood per my itinerary. During midday of day two I returned to the motel to eat and nap. While searching for an item in the trunk of my car an old man and stranger to me quietly approached me and walked up on the back of me. He proceeded to ask if I was a guest and had not greeted me nor identified himself as a manager until I hesitantly questioned him. He then started barking parking rules at me any response from me afterwards he addressed as my bad attitude or how he didn’t like my mouth and I had to leave the motel. He dared me to return to my room to get the few items I left earlier in the day. He threatened me and insisted on harassing me on trespassing. Still unsure of who this guy really is I called the police. Officer arrived and I was on my room safely as instructed by dispatch. The officer heard my side and this managers side and the officer confirmed this strange old man was the manager. You can’t walk up on the back of Young ladies while at their trunk unannounced and not expect push back. Either way I am on the establishments no trespassing list. I will not call at a later date to be removed per the officers advice because I will not ever return. I received a partial refund voluntarily offered by the old man manager and the officer spoke on my behalf as much as he could for the remainder of my refund. The manager originally lied and said my refund would be thru Priceline. I showed the officer my bank transactions and I eventually received my full refund. Apology will never be accepted if one is ever extended to me. Photos online are correct and I wish I would have turned my video as the old man manager was making baby whining noises at me while I explained why I didn’t park in a suggested area due to I couldn’t see my vehicle from my room. I cut my Indy business trip short and left the state...
Read moreWe arrived very late, 1 am. There was an issue with getting to our Expedia reservation and the manager had us pay cash for our room instead and was going to cancel our Expedia reservation “or do you want to wait while I call them?”. We were exhausted, went to our room and the AC was on high but the compressor never kicked on so essentially it was blowing vent air. You could see outside around the AC unit, it was not sealed at all. The bathtub was permanently dirty, it might have been “cleaned” but had black gunk on the floor. We did not shower because of it. The towels were worn and thin, the bathroom overhead light didn't work, there was a lightbulb missing from the lights over the mirror. Toilet paper holder was broken off, there was a strip on the floor with no flooring over the plywood. The ceiling was badly patched in places. The bed had noticeable valleys where people sleep with a hump in the middle. This is a motel a lot of people live at and there was an announcement on the counter that they need to move people to different rooms after 60 days due to the city inspectors. The motel in on a busy street near lots of restaurants and shopping. On the plus side there was a full sized fridge and microwave in the room and the room was large. We saw no evidence of bugs. The manager was a nice guy, and was one of the people who remodeled the motel but reviews saying its amazing after the remodel are just people who like the manager. If we had arrived at 6 pm, we wouldn’t have stayed. Truly was the worst motel room we have ever stayed in. Now lets see if Expedia refunds my money as the manager promised since I handed him cash last night. I paid $64 to the manager despite my reservation charging...
Read moreThis place is an absolute dump. It used to be a pretty decent place at a somewhat affordable rate. But now, it's just sad.
I decided to check in awhile back and I was greeted by a foul mouthed woman that would make a sailor blush and smelled like she had recently bathed in grease that was used to fry salmon patties in. The office reeked of poverty and cigarettes.
I was told that I don't get a room key. Maintenance or office staff would have to let you in. At this point, I was terrified, but had no other choice because all other hotels were booked solid. So I paid for one night.
The room had a welcoming aroma of cat urine and death. And it hits you hard when that door opens. There was no towels, soap or toilet paper. But there were coffee filters, which came in handy after taking a fresh dump in the refrigerator, which didn't work. The cockroach thanked me for my offering as I closed the fridge door. Plumbing is on par if you were to compare it to an outhouse. The TV was straight out of the 80's with cigarette burns and a couple of Q95 stickers stuck on top. The shower was as hygienic as a Tijuana truck stop bathroom. And to top it all off, no sheets or pillowcases. I picked up the phone to request all linens be clean and replinished, but there was no dial tone. I investigated further and it looked like the phone cord had been chewed on by a rat the size of Master Splinter. I just said "screw it" and slept in the Walmart parking lot down the street.
For the love of God, avoid this place. And all who are...
