I called at this dollar store around 7:30pm I was looking for a canvas print decor which is maroon color and writing says Friends and wine gets better with time also one more in black writing says home is where the wine is and Star who is the manager she answered me I had asked specific for this item and prescribed her very well I even asked her many times so make sure she understood what I am looking for this store is 21minute far i has told her everything and I asked her if she has it Iāll come now get it just keep a side and I will ask for you mind you she wasnāt happy to begin with not willing to help me well after all this confirmation she said yes she have it and she just got them in shipment without looking what I had asked for well I ran down their and I looked in to Isle no 4 and I donāt see it so I was looking for her and finally I found one girl and I asked her she also had nasty attitude she call star and hey we go star came out in her office giving me a dirty look mind full I was very polite on the phone even I didnāt as their the entire visit I didnāt loose my temper or gets angered in her in my conversation also over the phone And in person I was very calm respectful and nice because I am also the store owner and I had worked in retail all my like now Iām with bank and deal with customers all day long. So I now how to behave and what to expect. Well she was very nasty to me because I was very disappointed drive in very bad weather to get their in rush to get their on time and was happy to find what I am desperately looking for I was ker saying honey honey my dear Star didnāt like this and she said on my face that donāt call me honey I said my dear put yourself in my place and think I gave her very good advice which I always followed myself Treat the people the way you wanted to treat yourself what goes around comes around and I am strongly believing in Karma. I told her very nicely that my dear I know you donāt like it but I wasnāt happy for your service and you call yourself a store manager I am sorry to say she should get fire because she donāt deserve this job and this kind of post. She comment I donāt care at the end of the day this is just a job nothing gets me. But how I feel about my experiences my excitement by the way Iām throwing a surprise bday party for my hubby and Thatās the reason I wanna as looking for those canvas decor for my bar table. Well she completely disappointed me and very upset and I am the kind of person that donāt cursed or used any bad words language or anything else but nicely talk. And that make me guess what kind of nationality and culture are you in to test me like this. She donāt deserve to work in this area particularly. It was very bad experience I have that you donāt know I left everything to get their on time. My humble request to the chief CEO to this company they should fire her no warning nothing if you guys donāt take seriously thatās the reason this kind of employee who can fearless say complain to corporate not having any kind of guilty or fear for loosing job. I look in to my every customer that their reason I have my pay check and I am able to leave good life gave my family a good life pay my bills. But I guess the store manager name STAR which shamed to her meaning less name still do whatever they want I am sorry to say if she continue works their I am not going to shop their or recommend to anyone if you think that oh in the dollar store what if one customer donāt come here then you are wrong very bad thinking about business. Ā Ā Ā Read moreCHECK YOUR RECEIPT. They overcharged me. So I follow protocol and went to the retailer first I showed the manager all the documentation. After several times on her phone calculator it was agreed that I was in fact overcharged. Even though that was clear based on the amount on the receipt versus the amount on the card transaction statement. But I was patient I didn't make a stink. It is decided by management that they will be returning the overcharged amount to me which is less than $4. They weren't even going to return the full amount because I don't really have a process for it it was close enough I was fine with that. And then the new manager says one minute and she disappears. She doesn't say why she's disappearing again they've already agreed to return the money they overcharged me, so I wait. After a few minutes I go to find her. Apparently she's now on the phone with her boss. She then comes back and tells me they're not going to return the money they stole by overcharging me. That I now have to go through my card company. Which is fine for me. Here is the problem. The manager had already made a decision to refund my money and told me so. And then she decided to go take a survey. Then she made me wait more as she frantically checked out one of her employees that had been waiting several minutes for her to go home. When she came to tell me that she would no longer be refunding my money I was not given the opportunity to speak to that person. She told me I could call them myself and didn't seem to think there was a problem with that. She also didn't think there was a problem that you already made a commitment to a customer and now you have backed out of that commitment. It's clear that she is a new manager who doesn't seem to have received any training. Your employee who shows up on time and doesn't steal from you does not a manager make. Dollar Tree train your management! Not effectively training your staff for the job they're given usually end up with poor performance and a miserable team Positive for me in the end because I got my items...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRude staff!! I went to dollar store, Schalks crossing on 27th December and the new year cards werenāt there. So on 1st jan (today) i called before going. And oh my god! What attitude! She goes like āhold on hold on.. what do u want?!ā Like i was speaking greek or latin! And then with utmost rudeness she asked me to go and check myself ācoz she is the only one at the store and she canāt do that for me! I mean alright i undstnd there might be customers there and giving her a benefit of doubt, may be she was busy billing... but politeness is important if u r dealing with customers.. i mean why the heck they have a phone if they donāt want to help people!! Might be some underpaid, frustrated lady who had to work on the 1st of January!! I wish the owner reads this and deals with such rude staff..
P.S : My husbnd went to the store and saw She was not the only staff there, as she told me over phone. There was one More. So sheās a LIAR too! Sorry guys, am Not Sure who i spoke to, as i was so furious that I didnāt go there. My husband went to get the stuff and said there were 2 ladies.. i had asked him to check the name ācuz i thot...
