Review coming from 1-2 months experience with this daycare and MY experience with Lightbridge of Plainsboro
I just want to start off by saying, parents please always watch the cameras, i know with work and things we can get so tied up we forget to look at the cameras but youâll really notice and see a lot when you pay attention to them.
It was my first baby, new mother, looking to go back to work my daughter was around 7 months. I wanted to leave her in a place where I felt comfortable, and trust them with my daughter. This place wasnât it!! it all started on her first day, I watched My daughter cry while getting ignored (one her first day!) which you would think sheâll get just a little bit of more attention because sheâs knew and doesnât know anyone. It was so traumatizing seeing her cry the way she did, turn so red, never seen her get like that. I go back in with tears in my eyes, wanting to speak to the teacher (infant room leader), I told her whatâs going on, you know she deserves more attention since itâs her first day. She replied âshe has no answer for me on why she left my daughter crying*. That was the first red flag, well as a business owner, Iâm aware of giving second chances and start again on right food. I took her back, they were more on top of her because they saw that I am AlWAYS watching. My daughters feeding schedule was so messed up, they wouldnât feed her on time. I called the school to talk the teacher (leader of infants) again, why is my daughter not getting fed on time. Her response âwe are short staffedâ so we are having trouble getting all the kids in on time. The daycare is getting paid on time, why does not daughter have to suffer on them not having enough teachers. (There is always new teachers with babies, the only that is always there (lead teacher) That was another red flag. The last red flag were I was like yeah, I think its enough chances was when another (big baby, walks and runs) I saw hitting the other babies that are just beginning to crawl. They would leave the babies alone in the play area, so the teacher would notice till the baby started crying. Which is why there should always be a teacher watching the babies even if there in the pay area. Incidents like this wouldnât have happen and avoided since they are all babies and donât know any better. I saw the baby then hit my daughter, to the point where she started crying they said no to him then moved him. I was just so unhappy with their care with my daughter, I decided to transfer to another Lightbridge and honestly I wish I wouldâve took her to the new Lightbridge she is in from the...
Read moreMy daughter in 6 days total of being there resulted in her being hospitilized for a seizure. The first week she was exposed to hand foot mouth and developed a double ear infection. They constantly take the two year olds outside in the winter....no hats ...jackets open. The second day her teacher asked me to bring diapers with tabs to make it easier to change her not help potty train her. If I hadn't opted to watch video footage ...I would not have been informed of many things. In example my daughter was bullied, ignored, made to wait to eat the late lunch we paid extra money for. Avoid the meal options....it's never on time and unimpressive. I watched my daughter be changed while they made her stand up. I watched my daughter fall backwards in a chair hit her elbow and head. Her teacher did not inspect her....she forcefully sat her down back in the same chair and walked away. In the first two weeks there my daughter's pediatrician informed us she was also dehydrated. They don't encourage children to drink fluids. My daughter also developed a uti and diaper rash from poor hygiene. They will give you a daily report that doesn't equate to your child's day as far as nutrition and hygiene. Everytime we picked my daughter up all they said is she crys alot.... she had a bad day. The biggest red flag....happened this Monday past my healthy child whom only went to the Dr for immunizations her whole 2.5 years of life suffered from a seizure. She was hospitilzed where they informed us she was severely dehydrated, had rsv, her double ear infection was still not better. A uti was present and diaper rash. I'm praying and hoping for the best we still have to see another neurologist after several other test and a hospital admission. Please dont bring your babies her for their safety and longevity. This facility doesn't communicate nor monitor children. They also try to hide pertinent events that transpire in a day...Please protect your baby...needless to say we collected her belongs and ran....
Two partial weeks was enough...there was so much physical evidence to refute the legitimacy of this day care. It should be noted I have 12 years experience in Healthcare...please protect and listen to...
Read moreWe had a very promising experience with Lightbridge Academy of Plainsboro. My son has been attending the daycare for nearly 8 months and we have seen him transition very well and he has started to socialize well. We started when he turned 1yr when i was very skeptical about how he would adapt but Ms.Krupa and Ms. Manisha ensured that my son was getting along well. Ms.Krupa, Ms.Manisha and Ms.Denae all of them have been very down to earth and are easily accessible at office to talk/share any concern. ParentView access has been an excellent tool for me to watch my son whenever i wanted. This helped me visualize that he did well along with the timely reports that i kept receiving. If/When i had any concerns, I could call the office and had the opportunity to directly talk to the handling teacher which gave me more peace of mind that I conveyed my sonâs needs appropriately. Ms.Corrine was his first teacher and she handled my son very well during his first few days when i was extremely worried to introduce him to the new environment. While I initially started with all sorts of concerns, today I see him happily running into the classroom to his current teacher Ms. Sujaya, who welcomes him with a warm cuddle. My husband and I, we are thankful to all his teachers including Ms.Erika, Ms.Sandhiya, Ms.Sukaya, Ms. Morgan, Ms.Deepti and the entire team who took care of my child. We relocated to a different place hence had to move my son to our new neighborhood. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this place, based on...
