The Device Clinic — Attraction in Plant City

5 Stars: THE DEVICE CLINIC, in downtown Plant City, FL, is a great shop! I didn't even know this smartphone repair shop existed in the ARCADE Building at 205 N. Collins St, in downtown Plant City, FL, but after I was referred by BLUE THUMB PC (right around the corner, at 116 W. Reynolds St, which does computer repair, but not smartphone repair, and also a good business that, on a prior occasion, helped me diagnose a wifi problem at no cost), I called THE DEVICE CLINIC, and spoke to Robyn about trouble installing a replacement battery for my SAMSUNG GALAXY S10. It looked simple to me, as I tinker with electronics and gadgets, but I couldn't get the back plate on. Robyn kindly put it on, at no charge, in minutes, and explained that millimeters matter in small devices with small spaces. While I was waiting, another customer came up, and he said that her shop was highly recommended, and she ordered a part for him and took his phone in for repair. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the shop is run by Walter and Robyn McCoy, and while I don't recall meeting her husband, his resume is impressive. The shop owners are both long-time and qualified experts who are good business professionals, and I recommend their shop for your smartphone needs. Both businesses hearkened back to my own father's business, the BOBBY WATTS SPEEDSHOP AND AUTO/ENGINE PARTS shop, and continued his genuine tradition of helping others at reasonable costs, sometimes at no cost. Wow! What a professional, knowledgeable, and efficient repair shop! I was referred to the Device Clinic by a family member and took the chance because all other repair shops either took forever, seemed sketchy or would send my device off to be repaired instead of in house. This is not the case at the Device Clinic, my son’s 11 pro max was cracked all around, I thought it was done. A couple hours of repair at the Device Clinic and it looks like it is leaving the mobile provider showroom. Thank you so much Device Clinic! Robyn & Walt and what they do at the Device Clinic are amazing! They have replaced my son’s LG X Charge battery after he dropped it & damaged the battery connection inside! Then when I needed my iPhone 6s Plus battery replaced they not only did it with in minutes they also are the cheapest price when I called around pricing the cost of battery replacement! They definitely beat any other store in pricing charging $29.95 for battery replacement vs $49 & up at other cell phone repair shops! Also they offer completely free diagnostic testing of your device & if you decide not to get it fix they still don’t charge you for their services and they are very up front & honest with you & tell you whether or not if it’s actually worth repairing or not.
