I've been involved with the Village Potters Guild for nearly 5 years, first as a student and now as a member. It's a lovely, supportive community of artists dedicated to deepen their relationship with clay arts, and also the connection with the surrounding community. Members and instructors have taught me so much about the making process, and also the technology of glazing and firing. The studio is well-equipped and clean. I'd recommend classes here to both beginners and experienced potters. Twice-yearly sales -- Spring Market just before Mothers Day, and Holiday Market just before Thanksgiving -- are held at the Guild, which is transformed from working studio to art gallery for the events.
