Had a groupon for a shellac mani. The place is kind of hidden from the street in a strip mall, but once I found it and entered I forgot about all that. It is decorated very nicely and cute, considering that it is not huge, but they aren't cramped either. It was packed with clients from a bridal party (Saturday morning) and they all looked happy with the service they received, their hair styles were nicely done and the salon workers were very nice to them. I only waited about 5 minutes before Chrissie, my manicurist, came and found me in the crowd. She was super friendly, hospitable, and easy to talk to. She is a feisty girl with good energy. She told me how they train new stylists in their own program as apprentices before letting them work on clients, which was so cool to learn. They have a tiered pricing system based on the workers' comfort at performing services (nails, make-up, hair color, etc), which ranges the pricing from affordable to slightly expensive. I would make this my go-to salon if I lived closer, but I will return in the...
Read moreNirvana Salon (formerly Clover Salon) is the ultimate Salon/Spa experience. It maintains an upscale, clean, luxurious and inviting environment. The area is so cute, and parking was a breeze. The staff was extremely accomodating and friendly. The new owner is hands down the nicest person I've met in this business. I had zero wait time and they had my hair and eyebrows done so quickly and professionally. Not to mention, my hair has never looked and felt so beautiful. So grateful to have found my new home salon. I am a customer...
Read moreI am always too anxious about trying to make small talk at a salon, but Jamie made a haircut a fun experience for me (for the first time in my life). I won't be avoiding haircuts at all costs from now on. The salon itself is really small and there's no pressure to get you out the door immediately. Great place - feels like you're at a friend's house instead of a business (but still professional). Oh, and I really loved my...
