My wife and I started off looking at this place because of the deals we had seen online. My wife and I had seen some cars we liked and we decided to give this place a shot. Little did we know, this would be a mistake in the making. We reached out to the place and sent in our information and they responded with saying we were pre-approved. We decided to drive down to the dealership and look at the one car we wanted. Turns out it was a standard and my wife cannot drive a standard. We decided to look at other cars and we came across a Buick Lacrosse that my wife fell in love with. We then proceeded to move forward with that car and then everything started going south. First, my paycheck stubs didn't have a piece of information that the bank needed. So we understood and they gave us a backup option of providing them with 4 consecutive paycheck stubs when they only asked for 3. On top of doing this, we were also told to drive to Ponca City from Stillwater for the second time, while they printed off the emailed paycheck stubs. They claim they were going to print them off so they could contact the bank and we could possibly go home with the car that same day. Little do we know, when we arrive, they were unable to print off the pictures and failed to mention it on our 1-hour long drive, where we could have sent it again different and printed it off. We get there and they tell us to turn around and go back home and come back the next day, AGAIN! They told us to be here at 9 AM in the morning, so we did and we were in the store at 9:04. They then tell us to leave and go do stuff in Ponca City while the bank reviewed the info. 3 hours of chilling in Ponca City they tell us we were declined because of the info I provided. We were a little saddened by the news and we started making our way back to Stillwater. We are on the south side of Ponca City when we get a phone call from Seth, telling us that they re-ran the info but only in my wife's name and that she got approved. We then turned around and started driving back to the dealership, only to be told they ran the info for a 2017 Hyundai even though we never wanted that car. They then told us sorry for not running it with the car we wanted and then we parted ways. 2 days later, my wife received a call from Seth again. This time he tells us that a "deal" came across the screen and they ran her information again, without our knowledge, and they got her approved for the Buick. Seth then proceeded to start getting the information ready for us to buy the car, however, this time we were in Elk City, Oklahoma with our families, celebrating the holidays. My wife and I made a decision to drive back to Stillwater early so we can get the car. This promise was made with the fact that the car was around 13,000 and at 10% interest. I was concerned about the price and asked if this was the final price even after they took off the deductions for the pretty noticeable cosmetic issues. ( The car had a big dent in the driver side rear panel, all 4 rims had chips out of them from unknown issues, and the passenger doors had scratches all down the side.) I asked Seth why the price was so high after the deductions, and he told me it was because it was the "premium package". I then asked, with all my right to do so, if he could send us a report of the car with the VIN and the manual just to show us that this was the correct statement, and he agreed and told me he would email me the information. We told Seth we would start heading that way after we got off the phone with the thought of having the information sent to us. As soon as we pull out of the driveway, the "Financial Manager" called us to tell us that he called the bank (which should be closed on a Saturday, but who am I to use common sense.) and told them to cancel the deal and it was off. He said we were unappreciative of their "services"(doing your job?) and that we were screwed because of our credit anyway. He then basically told us to go F* ourselves and hung up the phone.
Save yourself the time, money, and frustration, and go...
Read moreOn Friday September 4th, my husband and I went into Pioneer Auto to look at a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab (red).
A sales man by the name of Rudy Rockett came out and asked us if we were interested in the truck. We told him yes, And from there went.
We test drove the truck, and the check engine light came on. We ran a diagnostic, and it showed problems with the catilitic converter. We brought this to Rudy's attention, in which he stated he would have the problem fixed, and even signed a "To DO Work" slip, saying the problem would be fixed. So we went through with the financing, and off we went in our pretty new truck...........
The next day my husband drove the truck to work and noticed a loud clincking sound. As wel as a rattling that sounded as if it was coming from what my husband believed to be the AC condencer berring. My Husband contacted Pioneer and told them. And rudy advised us to bring back the truck TODAY Sept 8th and they would take care of the problem.
Before we went back to pioneer with the truck to have the repairs done, my husband contacted the financing company. They asked if he was pleased with the truck and he told them not yet, and told them about the problems. They told him after the repairs are made to contact them back and make sure we are pleased so we could lock up the loan.
We took the truck back to Pioneer. When we got there Rudy Rockett stated that the finance company was backing out of the deal. We told Rudy that we just got off the phone with them and that they had told us to call back once the repairs were made. Rudy stated that the finance company called him within the ten minute we got off the phone with them till the time we showed up at the car lot.
Rudy then took back the truck, and gave us back our old one (thank god) and we left.
We got back home and made a call to the finance company. When the woman answered she was in shock stating "wow they already made the repairs?" We told her no that they took the truck back and told us that the finance company had backed out. The lady then told us that she made no such phone call to the dealership, and she was just waiting on us to call back and let her know that the repairs had been made, so she could finish up the final stages of the loan. And everyone was happy.
She also then told us that dealerships a lot of the time will try to take back the vehicle when there is a problem, and fix the problem (jimmy rig it) and mark up the price of the vehicle.
So in the end, the dealership pulled out of the deal, so they could in the end make a few extra hundred bucks by fixing problems that existed prior to us ever signing for the vehicle.
Pioneer Auto is full of snakes. Rudy Rockett being one of them. Be very weary when purchasing a vehicle through them. They will do anything to make some extra cash. My husband says that from now on, we will only go through actual dealerships. So Dodge dealership, here we come.....
and Pioneer Auto........yall are horrible money hungry, lying, scumbags, and im going to make sure all of Ponca is aware...
Read moreWhat I can say about my experience with pioneer auto is bad service, bad deals. I bought a car from this establishment in June not even a month later it stopped working. I asked asked them for help or any guidence on why I can possibly do. They didn't say much. After I kept calling I asked if I could trade it in; they agreed the catch was they wanted to go through the bank of there choice instead of the bank of we orginally went through. I was told "were done with the deal since blank wants it there way" I was upset that they got 9,000(13,000 orginall asking price) from me and now I'm stuck with a car with a bad motor thus going to cost coulple grand to repair. I made a post on Facebook stating "Who else has been burnt by pioneer auto?" Mr. Cliff got offended by the remark and was telling me he was going to sue me for "slandering" and wait there more.....he had the audacity to make a review on my jobs site, a place hes never been serviced at..." The lady named Erika is rude and disrespectful , she does not need to be in costumer services, consulting a lawer as we speak." So who's really slendering? Just because of a post I made, Im certainly positive im not the first or last perosn to make a negative or positve mention on Facebook, so now I came too google to share my experience. Very poor customer care all they want is your money and the could caressless what happens after. Many of you would say you should of got it checked first but as young female I feel like I got ripped off I asked them if they inspect there cars if so you would think there mech. would of known it had a bad motor. Or you would expect to be sold its worth and condition. It's was a fairly new car only 50,000 something miles. I hope nobody else gets ripped of like me cause it's hard being 22 and trying to make it with people that are seflish business owners. Look where you buy and make sure you get your car worth...
