Burger King — Restaurant in Ponca City

Burger King in Ponca City is the worst I have ever been to. I have lived in 5 states and 3 different continents. I moved here about a year ago and have had the disappointment of spending money at the Ponca City Burger King on several occasions. My sons enjoy the food (because they are young and don’t know any better) and so every couple of weeks, I take them there hoping the food and service has improved, it never has. The inside is always nasty and the employees working the drive through appear to be incompetent, to say the least. Tonight, I took my sons there for the last time. We pulled up, looking at the main sign that still says “Impossible whopper i shere” for the last six months. The ordering screen is bright white and not functioning, along with the small red light, which signals fresh hot cookies are available, blinks 24 hours a day now, even though they had no cookies available. I ordered my son a grilled cheese sandwich and cheese sticks, which we have ordered dozens of times in the past. The girl on the microphone says they don’t have that available. I then asked if she could ring up a value cheese burger, plain, no meat, thus leaving just cheese and bread. After 3-4 minutes, she tells me she can not ring up an order like that. I explained my son is allergic to meat and we just wanted bread and melted cheese. The girl stated they had no grill inside to cook anything like that. The girl further stated her manager said there is no way to special order anything like that. Lastly, they told us we needed to leave and we could order a grilled cheese at Sonic...

Me and my grandmother just came through the drive through and no one came on the speaker for at least two minutes and when they finally did I had to repeat my order five different times. I was kind and understanding until I got to the window and when I asked the red headed lady if she could repeat my order she got an attitude and then began shoving our drinks out the window. When I got one of the drinks it wasn't all the way filled up and I'm not being picky it was very noticeably not filled all the way up I tried to say something the second I got it and she slammed the window and walked off. When she came back I told her about it and she took the drink rolling her eyes and shaking her head filling it back up then sarcastically told me to have a blessed night. I pulled over to check our food and everything seemed fine so I went on home only to pull into my driveway and take a drink of my diet coke for it to be coke. There is a reason I asked for her to repeat my order to make sure it was right. I was kind and patient and she was nothing but hateful. We won't be going back for quite some time and I cannot believe someone like that still has a job there. I would never treat someone like that and it's a shame you allow someone to work there who does. What's worse is I believe she was...

They should have 0 stars. It was nearly 10pm and we needed to grab a fast-food bite to eat before leaving Ponca City to go back home. We literally waited in the Drive-Thru for 30 minutes. When we got our sack of food I opened it and handed a taco to the person in the passenger seat and the sack to the backseat. The lady opened the drive-thru window back up and wanted to know why we weren't leaving. I think if I wait 30 minutes in the line you can wait less than one minute for me to hand a sack to the back seat. We are driving down the highway and my son asked for his drink. We didn't get it. After all that time we don't get the drink. He had ordered some cheese sticks and half of those had no cheese in them. For real. They were only crust breading. I took a bite of one of them to see what he was talking about and there was no cheese in the cheese stick. My husband's taco was a disappointment too. He doesn't want to get those again and we are sure not ordering cheese sticks again. Actually I'm not ever going there again. They are sloooow. This Burger King is on a busy corner and easy to see from the road. They have plenty of parking. There is a large kids play area inside. Just don't get your kids cheese sticks and expect cheese...
