Never thought I’d be happier to leave a hotel. Sheets in the room were filthy and stained and the freezer had a dead roach. Older woman at overnight front desk seemed more focused with playing on her Ipad then helping customers and was extremely rude and short with us. Asked for more towels and told us two towels for two people was enough and that we could only get new towels in the morning when they were dirty because “sometimes people steal them”. None of the staff was masked despite their signage, and our hallway reeked of weed. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Terrible experience. Reservation was cancelled and we ended up having to pay $25 more only to get bit by fire ants in the bed while we slept. Pool was closed, found a dead wasp and a broken safety pin in the bathroom. Also a pill was left in the desk that my child or service dog could have eaten. I’ve stayed at several hotels in the same exit, most of them better for almost half the price. Pick a different hotel!

Room smelled like urine. There were fleas. Pillows and bed were very uncomfortable. You have to turn on several lights to see. Wash clothes and towels were dirty. Someone's soap was left in shower

My fiance and I decided to stay here for a couple days before our cross country trip as a sort of vacation-before-the-vacation-vacation. It was nice, definitely nicer than I was expecting after reading mixed reviews from other people who've been here. The room was clean and standard. The rooms are fitted with a large minifridge and microwave, along with coffee maker and decent TV. We never used any of these, but it was nice they were there in case we wanted to. The place is also right by a few fast food places if you have kids that want to walk the distance since it isn't far. Without having to cross the street you have access to McDonalds and an Enmart (cheaper fountain drinks there than at McDonalds!) and nearby is a KFC and a Pizza Hut Express/Taco Bell combination across the highway. We checked in pretty late so the place was quiet. There isn't typically much noise, in fact we were probably the loudest on the second floor. The place comes with free Wi-Fi and breakfast from 6-9. The Wi-Fi can be a bit shoddy, but calling the front desk and asking them to reset the router turned out to help in the end. The TVs in the room and modded to keep you from changing the inputs, like most hotels. So if you're planning on bringing your laptop/gaming consoles/etc. to play something or watch movies, don't count on getting into the TVs already provided. We brought our own small TV and didn't end up using the larger one at all. The staff was decent. The maid spoke maybe 10 English words when I was talking to her the one time I did. They bring towels and such every day around a certain time, but I forget when it was since we were only there one full day. The desk staff is nicer at night, and the breakfast is located in the lobby in a small seating arrangement. The breakfast was overall good. They provided bagels, toaster waffles, bread, muffins, cereal, milk, juices, bananas, coffee and oatmeal. The breakfast can get eaten up fast if you go too late, so I recommend getting up early for it if you really want to eat it. The staff definitely doesn't like setting up breakfast, as the first morning the man wiping the counters slammed the rag down and muttered under his breath. The second morning, a different man dropped the entire bunch of bananas for the later morning crowd and placed them like nothing happened. So if that type of stuff bothers you, be wary of the breakfast. The bathroom is small, but nice. The toilet paper is on the opposite side of the wall from the toilet, though, which I had trouble with and eventually just took the rolls off the holders and put them on the counter. The shower is a decent size and an fit two at once if you're small. The water pressure on the shower can be adjusted and the temperature is easily changed. Over all, I liked the place. My fiance and I had a good time and we enjoyed having the small room to ourselves for a couple nights. We often walked out to the Enmark for drinks, but wear shoes that aren't open if you do, because there are some nasty biting ants in the grass (I found out the hard way). If you're looking for somewhere cheap to stay for a few days/nights, this isn't a bad idea. I enjoyed my time, the only real downside was the hard to...

Microtel Hotel We checked in around 9:00 pm. After she processed our stay, we were told that our room was on the second floor, and there were no elevators. Why didn’t she mention this prior to charging us? We asked her did she had any rooms on the 1st floor. She said “ not for the size of your party”. She made it seem like we came with a football team. It was just four people. We did not need a couch in the room. She “assumed” that we needed one. When she was processing our room, she told us that we were using a card that was different from the card that we made the reservation with. She made it seem like we were an inconvenience. We have stayed here every year for more that 10 years. We have never had any problems until today. Has the management changed? After entering our room, we noticed that it smelled moldy in the room. We checked the A/C unit and saw that it was full of dust and mold. There was also mold in the chair that was in the room. We had to spray the room with disinfectant because of the odor and the mold. We left the room in hopes that it would smell better when we came back. The sheets on the first bed was stained, with what may be blood. The sheets on the second bed was stained with something yellow. Again, we had to spray with disinfectant. The ice maker had mold on it. The bathroom tub was dirty, oh and yes, there was blood on the shower curtain, and the final straw was there were roaches in the room. Like I said earlier, we have been coming here for more than 10 years. I am terribly disappointed with everything from the customer service we received when we first walked in, to the horrid room. WE WILL NOT BE BACK. I DO Not...

I had friends coming into town and they had a room booked for st.pattys day , they called and asked me to meet them in the hotel lounge for drinks when they arrived. After arriving we discovered that the hotel didn't have as lounge or a restaurant just a breakfast area with a snack bar. The rooms were basic , approximately 10 × 16ft with somewhat comfy queen size beds with the option to request a crib or pull out for younger children. A Flat screen televisions hung upon the wall equipped with Xfinity Cable and they offer free Xfinity Wi-Fi as well. The bathroom was handicap friendly with handbars as well as a seat in the tub. They have an outdoor pool open during the summer months. The person at the desk was quite friendly as I asked to be announced ( which it turns out you can use the phone in the lobby to call their room yourself.) During the week of St. Patrick's Day you practically have to reserve rooms a year in advance for at least 75 miles in any direction . Although we were unable to eat and have a drink at the hotel there are several dozen eating establishments within a 5 minute drive and at least a dozen fast food restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Depending on your likes and dislikes Spankys ,for the sports bar type, Nagano ,for the Oriental taste buds, waffle House for those after the party goers, Western sizzler ,the good ol' American steak house . All within walking distance. Or go north 2 miles and check out everything the factory outlet , shopping centers, movie theaters, museums, skate city, bowling, Lazer tag ,water parks..... You get the picture...Welcome to Microtell and...
