When we travel north we like to stop at Bojangle locations but we will NEVER stop at the Bojangle's location in Pooler, Georgia again. During this visit we ordered an eight piece and twelve piece family meal. You could sense immediately the tension when the person who took our order informed other employees. One of them made the remark "They ordered an eight and a twelve piece?" That's when it became obvious they were ill prepared for such an order. As they scrambled to complete our order the manager stop and asked me "You ordered an eight and twelve piece family meal?' I replied yes and she simply shook her head and walked away. When they handed us the two boxes containing our order I noticed there was no tea included which is part of the meal. When I inquired about the tea I was told "you don't get the tea because I gave you cups instead". Finally one of the other employees told him to "just give them the tea" in a rude and sarcastic manner. When we arrived home a couple of hours later we opened up the boxes and were totally disappointed . One order only contained one of the two sides which should have been included. We had had requested fries for the second order but the amount of fries was barely enough for a small size. The chicken was a mismatch of regular chicken (no breasts, just legs, wings and thighs) and small tenders. There were no biscuits included in either order. In total I spent over $60 only to be served scraps because they did not have what I requested. Had they told me they didn't have enough chicken or biscuits to fill my order I would have waited but instead they decided to give me leftovers. I called to speak with the manager (white female) and the person claiming to be the manager stated I had the wrong location because all employees were black. Even though I described the location to her she continued to deny or offer any solution. Crazy part was there were only a couple of people inside and maybe 4-5 cars in the drive-thru. I am truly disappointed in the service provided. This establishment is one that I will not be...
Read moreOver three weeks ago I paid for and received a bad, cold, over salted meal from this location. I called the customer service line and soon after the male manager of this location called me and assured me that he would make this right by sending a gift card in the amount I spent for the meal to me in the mail. Two weeks later I called back because the card was never received. I was told then by a second female manager that it would be placed in the mail that day "sure thing" and how sorry she was that it hadn't been done sooner. Another week and 4 days passed and still no card. I decided to stop in (spare time I didn't have) this morning to get card or a better meal. I was greeted by the same polite and professional female manager that I last spoke to and she knew exactly who I was and what I was there for. Again she apologized for me NOT receiving the card and then prepared my meal.
I received the SAME nasty sandwich I did the first time! When fried food gets old and cold it's very nasty. I was given the first sandwich in a long line of sandwiches that clearly had been there too long waiting on the next foolish customer to walk in. Needless to say I just cant spend my money at this or any other Bojangles' establishment. I have tried several times over the last 4-5 months at this location and the two others (Port Wentworth and savannah) and every time I get the same thing, a waste! Waste of time and money and even though I'm not skinny I refuse to eat this mess I was served today it would be a waste...
Read moreOn September 7th at 6:41 a.m. My wife went through the drive-thru. You would think at that time of the morning that everything would be fresh and at its best. Quite the contrary, in fact, the blueberry biscuits were so hard around the edges that I had to cut the center out to use to put my biscuit together. The bow rounds were dark brown and were warm at best but definitely not hot. The biscuit on which the chicken sandwich lay Cajun chicken fillet to be exact. We're barely colored at all as if they had been pulled early and their texture was still doughy as well as my sausage biscuit. They were well buttered but not colored meaning someone pulled them out trying to make the order and didn't give them time to Brown. This is a cautionary tale. When you can go and they haven't even been open an hour solid yet. Rather it is covid related or lack of employees excuses fit those who make them. It just should have been a better experience that early in the morning. And whoever put the order together unless they just got hired that day should have had a problem wrapping biscuits that weren't brown and handling bowl rounds. That was so hard around the edges they should have as a employee...
