First off I love Krystals! We use to have one in my home town but it got done away with. While on the way home from visiting some family that lives in Pooler we decided to get a bite to eat before hitting the road and decided on Krystals being we rarely get to eat it anymore. Well this Krystals was absolutely HORRIBLE!! When we first walked threw the door a customer that had already ordered was telling us she had been waiting on her food for 30 minutes. We decided to give it a shot because every fast food restaurant gets a little behind. Well we ordered and sat down and waited before we knew it 45 minutes went by with NO FOOD!! Finally the Manger decided to come out of hiding and help. She asked about our order and asked what it was waiting on and the other employees said EVERYTHING!! And I know it was our order she was talking about because there was only 2 other orders the lady I mentioned earlier and 1 car in the drive thru. We decided to wait because it was late and hardly nowhere else was open. We finally get our food and the order is COMPLETELY wrong!! And every person that walked in after us was having the same problems. Oh and we had to ask for napkins after finally getting our food situated and the employee grab us a hand full with his gloves he was cooking with covered in grease! The employees are rude and really seemed like they could care less about anything!! Also before leaveing I was going to use the restroom before hitting the road WRONG!! There was napkins and tissue everywhere on the floor and both toilets was filled with poop and pee!! My advice to the owner/who ever it may concern get a whole new crew cause the one you got is going to put you out...
Read moreI visited Krystal’s on a Sunday afternoon, arriving at 3:05 PM. There were already two cars at the ordering station and one car waiting at the window. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to place my order until 3:16 PM and didn’t pull off with my food until 3:48 PM. That’s over 40 minutes for fast food, which, to be honest, is incredibly disappointing. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced long wait times at this location. I’ve even been before when only one person was working the entire restaurant. However, this time I noticed at least three employees: one gentleman at the front counter, a young lady handling the drive-thru window, and another young lady bagging the food. So, it was especially confusing why service was still so slow with multiple people on shift. That day I ordered a Number One with cheese (which includes four cheese Krystals), a Dr. Pepper, and two additional cheese Krystals with no pickles or mustard. While I’ll give credit where it’s due, the food was hot and fresh, I was still left baffled at how long it took to get a simple order. The saving grace of the experience was the drive-thru cashier, Aaliyah. She was kind, upbeat, and informative. She even shared in my excitement that it was my partner’s very first time trying Krystal’s. Her friendliness and professionalism stood out and made the experience a little more bearable. The only reason I waited that long in line was because I wanted my partner’s first experience with Krystal’s to be a good one, and thankfully, they did enjoy the food. Read moreStopped here on our way back home from a weekend in Savannah on 9/14/2025. Went through the drive-thru and the young lady said it will be a wait for the grill. We ordered a pick 5 with 2 cheese Krystal, apple turnover, small fry, and small sweet tea, and a number with cheese no pickle. The receipt said 12:44 when I paid. I was asked to pull to the side. After about 10 minutes I went inside to get mayonnaise and ketchup packets for my wife. There I saw 2 young looking workers and nothing on the grill. Then from the back comes the grill worker, I'm not sure if she had cleaned the grill and had to fire them back up. She started 48 Krystal burgers. There was customers complaining about how long they had been waiting, and they wanted their money back. Then I think around 1:17 I received my food. I must say it was fresh, fries hot, and was good. My Wife's pick 5 did not have any pickle, but food was good. I would suggest to talk the staff that was there, I think it would have made it better if they would have kept communicating with the customers, like saying something like 5 more minutes, tell a joke, thank for their understanding, and or updating on why there was a delay I think more people would have been more understanding. The 3 young lady staff handled the rush, got all the orders out while I was there. Just put a little more pep in your step when you see you have a dining room full of customers.
