Waffle House — Restaurant in Pooler

I've been here my entire life.. I've worked in this specific location for many years. I left working WH around 15-17 years ago.. We worked hard to bring this location up to being one of the top locations... Now, it may as well be just demolished. I haven't had a good experience here in years. Since Lee left, it's gotten even worse. My most recent visit was just a few weeks ago, on a Sunday night around 10pm. The food: generally, it's cold. The odds of even getting everything you ordered and it be cooked properly seems to just be something of the past. The staff: I'm sure they should even be classified as workers. Either they don't say anything at all, or they are extremely rude. Every visit, they've all been rude to each other and to customers. On our last visit, the server that came in late (since the shift starts at 9 pm for 3rd shift) was snappy and rude to the other server that had been waiting on us. The language used is beyond ridiculous. The phone usage while having customers is asinine. The grill operator and the one server made it well known they had zero desire to even be there. The building: inside was disgusting. There were a few tables with customers in them, but everything else was filthy. Dirty dishes, trash, and food were all over them. The servers didn't seem to have a care in the world about attempting to clean them. It was apparently better to spend their time being nasty to each other and being on their phones. I refused to even use the bathroom when I went into it, as it was disgusting.

It's heartbreaking to see the state this location is in.. and has been for numerous years. Typically, we avoid this location and go to the unit at 204 & 95. Travis has that location running the way it should be.

There was a point several years back that we wouldn't even walk in this location due to the way the staff would treat any customers that happened to be white.. didn't matter if you were Asian, Hispanic, or any other nationality, if you were light colored, it was made known you weren't welcomed.

We will not bother anymore to give this location another chance.. it has rapidly hit rock bottom.. redoing the building was a waste of...

This is a Waffle House. Don't expect to be babied, or extra taken care of. The moment you decide to go to a WH, you should know what you are getting into. This place was clean, busy, with ample parking, and enough seating.

Everyone was busy working and trying to do stuff as fast as possible. We were greeted once we arrived. There was only one table left, but the staff cleared out the other ones when needed and as fast as they could. They took our drink order and food order. Drinks first, nothing wrong with them, coffee could be a bit stronger, but it was just made and hot. Food came out about 10 minutes after, properly cooked, nothing burned, nothing forgotten, all was right.

Our server was pretty busy Since it was a Saturday at 10pm, but she was professional and on point with everyone I saw.

If you are on 95 and need a meal after driving for so long, stop by this WH. No weirdos around, clean bathrooms and place. You won't be...

He's got to be the most uneducated lack of common Sense people I have ever seen in my life... I walked in there they're not busy at all take a moment till they say anything to me then tell me they're not taking any to-go orders that they're focusing in on dine-in only.. I ask them what's going on you're not busy and what is the difference in me sitting right here and waiting on you to make it or me sitting in my car and waiting on you to make it there is no difference and you're going to get tipped either way.. is actually less work because you don't have to give me a drink and come check on me but hey these people are ignorant and they don't understand that.. they said it's because they only have two servers and one cook well what is the freaking difference.. now you just lost business and I took it to a different waffle House 1 mile up the road because...
