I walk through the park frequently with my dog. We walk along the beach bike path (since dogs are not allowed on the sand), then walk through the park before heading home. There are lots of ducks in bubbling springs, which runs through the middle of the park. Just please don't feed the ducks bread! White bread is especially bad for the ducks, please bring lettuce or bird seed to feed them instead. I would not feel safe visiting this park after dark, even with my dog. When I walk through the park, I stick to high-traffic, populated areas of the park, even during the daytime. I have seen young adults smoking (something other than cigarettes) near the train tracks, behind the tennis courts before sunset. I completely avoid the decommissioned train tracks, during the day I had a man change the direction he was walking in and cross the street to follow me and my dog onto the train track.
