A more accurate star rating for me is 3 and a half. It says beach but it should say bay. When I think of a beach, I think of miles of sand and ocean waves. There is a small amount of sand that is at best a mile long if that. The water is very calm. There are two piers. This so-called beach area is perfect for picnics and a wholesome family outing. It has a playground for the kids, a splash pad as well, cute little huts along the land and further back are partially covered picnic spots. The parking is fantastic. A lot of space.
