Motel 6 Port Lavaca, TX — Hotel in Port Lavaca

My husband and I stay at this Motel 6 at least twice a year and have always had a nice stay. The last time was February 2025 for our anniversary and I left my diamond earrings on the nightstand behind the phone. We were halfway home before realizing it, and I immediately called Jacob at the front desk. Being the wonderful, amazing person he is, he told me not to worry and went to find my earrings. Luckily, they were still there! Jacob took it upon himself to safely secure my earrings in a package and mailed them to my home! I appreciate Jacob, his kindness, integrity, and treating my husband and I like friends not just customers every time we are there. Staff was AMAZING every time that I visit which is at least once a month due to my man working offshore in Port Lavaca most of this year. I have never been disappointed. The staff have always gone over and beyond to accommodate my stay, even when I arrive a bit early. I HIGHLY recommend them. I especially liked Jacob and the female counterpersons. They do me right every single visit! Also, I was overwhelmed with luggage and walking on my healing broken ankle to an upstairs room and not only did a housekeeping staff person take some of my bags for me, she also went and got a mop because she wanted to touch up the floor. ABSOLUTE BEST MOTEL in the area in my opinion. Heading there again next weekend and just made my reservations and so looking forward to another...

From the moment we arrived at this hotel, the front office personnel was very welcoming and friendly. My room was very clean, and we'll put together. The highlight of my entire stay was actually when we checked out; since I traveled to this location from Houston, Texas, there was no way I was going to return an hour after departure, and realizing my necklace was left in the room. I called the hotel and spoke to the manager, Jacob, who was extremely helpful by mailing the necklace to my home at no charge - that level of customer service is commendable and major...
