Do not come here!!! It's overly expensive for the quality and quantity of the food! I wanted the seafood platter however they would not allow me to change any part of it, even for an up-charge. My stuffed crab came out black from being so burnt, the rest of the food being just minutes away from being brunt as well. My daughter ordered the boiled shrimp salad. She received lettuce, 2 cucumber slice, and 2 tomatoes. The shrimp on the salad was the exact same salad shrimp that you can get at Wal-Mart for $5 and defrost at home. They weren't even fully defrosted and had no seasoning. When we tried to send it back to get something edible, we were told the kitchen, that was cooking my new stuffed crab, was closed. When I asked for the manager, I was told I had to walk across the building to talk to her. When I expressed my shock at having to go to the manager, that was sitting at a table, and made a comment about making disabled people go to her, I was asked if I was disabled. When I confirmed that I am disabled, then the manager was able to come to my table. The manager said the kitchen was closed and had been cleaned, and the cook was about to leave. I said they could take a throw a few shrimp on the grill so my 12 year old could eat. The manager told me my daughter could go hungry. My poor girl ended up with a plain salad, that was watered down. The manager was so rude. A woman at another table turned around while everything was going on and told the manager that was horrible customer service. The manager even said I could take my child to Wal-Mart to eat! Our waitress was very nice and kept apologizing for the manager. She could not believe the way her manager treated us. If we hadn't driven all day to get here and if anything else, that wasn't fast food, had been open we would have left. Do not waste your time or money here. If I could give less than 1...
Read moreIf I could give this 0 stars I would. I have NEVER been in to a restaurant where every staff member acts as if they wish you were not there. I arrived at 1:30 p.m. to get a quick take out of fried shrimp. It was our first time visiting so I asked the woman behind the glass checkout area about their fried shrimp. Was it fresh or frozen. I realize this area is near the bay but many restaurants still use frozen shrimp. She said fresh. She was not helpful, friendly, kind, or even smiled. I almost walked out but we were hungry so I ordered. The food was HORRIBLE. Shrimp were VERY tough and tasted fishy. Tarter sauce was super sweet. We're Texas folks and this was not even on the mark. When my wife received her food to go, she looked to make sure they put some ketchup in the bag for the fries. She didn't see it so she asked if she could have some ketchup. A random waitress said oh (barely acknowledged her) and the woman who took her money and food order (we're guessing owner) ran to the back. She never came back out so my wife got tired of waiting and left. Customer service, food, cleanliness of place was terrible. (My wife said while walking back to restrooms there was food, straws, crumbs all over the floor. I would not recommend anyone going near this establishment as they clearly don't want business. Side Note: My wife met another lady in the restroom. She said it was their 1st time too and she felt the same way. If you're passing through don't...
Read moreStaff didn't know anything about the food or how it was prepared. Asked the waitress how the grilled oysters were prepared. She told us they were fresh and grilled on the half shell. Well, my wife's grilled oysters came out in a sauce.... straight on the plate. No shell, and honestly, the worst oysters I have ever put in my mouth. She had two and lost her appetite. I got the fried seafood platter with fies (nothing had any seasonin), and instead of the Cole slaw or salad, asked for the substitute for half order of onion rings that were only supposed to be $1.50 more. Got the bill and was charged $5.99 (full price) for the substituted onion rings. Questioned the extra charge and was then told that you can't substitute the onion rings for anything but the fries. Asked the manager about it and she was completely unwilling to make the waitress' mistake fore not telling me this when I ordered my food. Asked the manager to show me on the menu where it says you can only sub for fries. Well she couldn't, and still charged me full price. Needless to say the staff and management are very poor. If you want to eat real seafood for a comparable price, then make the drive to Tomball and eat at Captain Brad's Coastal Kitchen. I'm not sorry, but if you think this place is "good" seafood, and staff, then you don't know what a real seafood...
