Turtle & Hughes — Local services in Port Lavaca

I traveled from Victoria Texas because of their overall good prices. I noticed a couple of sour reviews the night before I went there, lucky for me I seldom take bad reviews seriously. Some people just cant be satisfied and other times jealous competitors will attempt to throw shade. Not only were their prices outstanding but customer service was over the top. I too had items to return plus other requests and was met with complete cooperation and served with a smile. Also there was a good sense of humor among the group here. I highly recommend Turtle and Hughes and will definitely make the trip again. They are worth traveling the extra mile for because they go the extra mile for their customers. Thank you...

Excellent friendly service. I went in for a tiny fuse for moms water heater. They actually stocked it. Carried on a good conversation with the other 2 counter people while mine was off searching for the fuses. Again. Friendly and affable. I have to say, I’ve no idea what the negative comment was about but based on my experience it’s way out of line. I paid little of nothing for the fuse I picked up. If I were building another house for mom, they’d get my business commercially and will get all my business...

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The guy at the desk behind the counter was so rude & offensive if I wasn’t returning something I would’ve went to ace which is almost the same price. Then he screwed my order up again but I refuse to give them another dime of my money. I would highly recommend going somewhere...
