Studio 6 Port Lavaca, TX — Hotel in Port Lavaca

Upon entering it seemed to be newly remodeled, upon further inspection the sink in my studio had tooth paste from previous occupants, the floors were dirty and the shower was pretty bad as well with dirty hand marks and what seemed to be pubic hairs throughout. Daily room service only included towel swap and throwing out of trash on some days trashed wasn’t taken out and on a few occasions full set of towels wasn’t replaced. Bed was never made up the entire 2 weeks of my stay nor was it ever cleaned even though I called and asked for service I was only told that they were having issues with the cleaning crews. People below me had a bbq pit going when I got off of work so I had to pass quickly only to be smelling like wood fire by the time I made it up to my room, those same ppl would play loud music until around 10pm almost daily. Doors aren’t well insulated so you could hear all their convos. I’m not saying this is everyone’s experience, I’m simple stating the issues I faced...

Stayed twice, both stays had to ask multiple times to get room service to stop coming in. All they do is swap the towels anyway, never clean anything. First time all the surfaces needed a sweep and wipe but that's about it; Second time asked them to sweep the room before I got there, they didn't, bathtub plug was the wrong type, bottom sheet was dirty, and the door panel had exposed batteries on the inside. King bed rooms don't seem to exist, you can reserve one but they only have double bed rooms to give you.

When we first arrived the room they put us in was flooded from a broken fridge so we were moved to a separate room. The vending machine there is a money grab, you can put in money but it won't let you buy drinks or get the money back, the change return button is broken. Another inconvenience was room service constantly trying to walk in our room while we were sleeping without even knocking. The blankets were dirty and there was what looked like dry urine in the bathtub. Overall not a very pleasant stay and won't...
