Came here to visit my parents, and Port Lavaca is a wonderfully quaint and charming town. Be prepared for a drive because you will probably have to fly into Houston and drive 3 plus hours to get to Port lavaca, but it's worth it. Everyone is friendly, and all the restaurants I tried were delicious. The fishing is outstanding, and the wet lands are beautiful .

A nice bay front park with marina, playground, picnic pavilion, lots of dog walkers, bathrooms, tons of parking and in the heart of Port Lavaca! Park closes at 11:00 so no overnight parking here. It was fun watching a sailboat come and go and was a restful place to spend the afternoon!

We had fun exploring the boardwalk area of the park. We saw many birds and crabs along the way. They also have a nice beach area to play at. You do have to pay a fee of $5 to get into the park.

A nice bay front park with marina, playground, picnic pavilion, lots of dog walkers, bathrooms, tons of parking and in the heart of Port Lavaca! Park closes at 11:00 so no overnight parking here. It was fun watching a sailboat come and go and was a restful place to spend the afternoon!

We always enjoy visiting, it would have been nice if they had a firework show there. We went on the 4th of july weekend, There was quite a few people enjoying the beach.... 1 restroom area was closed due to repairs, but other than that we'll definitely keep going...
