I generally like this store and up until my experience today, everyone has been helpful and pleasant. As I'm inquiring about a part this afternoon, being helped by a parts counter person, another employee later identified as John Copper rudely interrupts and starts demanding that I go to the front of the store and put on a mask. I am exempt I tell him and he proceeds to ask why I am exempt. None of your business I tell him, if you knew the order you're trying to enforce, you wouldn't be asking. At this point he is only a couple of feet in front of me. Face masks are to be enforced when social distancing is not possible. Think about this for a second I tell him, you're in my face demanding I put a mask on, so it's not really about the mask is it?? You're ignoring your own taped signs on the floor to stay six feet apart! If you are so worried about me not wearing a mask because of your safety, you are not going to be getting in my face about a mask! You're just going to keep your distance. If he was truly worried and spoke to me from a distance, I can understand that some people are scared weather the fear is justified or not. The fear would at least be understandable. John Copper, as he identified him self, needs to keep politics out of his workplace and not get into his colleague's customer's faces about his political passions. Read moreNewer location ( Jantzen Beach) is very clean. I have three boats and have one moored on the island so I have been here several times. Can feel a little quiet at times. I was disappointed when they didnt have a small push button horn switch for my smokercraft fishing boat in stock (12.00 item). Asked if they could get me one. They said it would be 30 days. The coast wasn't an issue but I can go a month without a horn. I went home and looked on line which I tried not to do. I try to support local stores. The price was 50% less and I had it next day! I was more than willing to pay the higher price and wait a week or so but 30days? Sorry. Had to go to plan B. Another time I went in to buy service kits for both my Yamaha 150 outboard. They had the engine oil & filter, gear oil and pump. The problem is, they don't have ANY drain or fill plug washers. It is suggested to replace them every time, which makes sense being it could leak oil out and or water in. Both of which are very bad things that nobody...

Employee Sandra cussing out her manager in front of customers when asked to do simple tasks. No help in the store. Nobody with half a brain is present here anymore. Unfortunately a growing trend these days. Rewind 10 years ago there was a guy in marine electronics knew his stuff. The people in other departments knew their stuff. Asked if you needed help. Its so bad my wife got asked 3 times by other customers while we were shopping if she could help them find items. So funny. Such a lack of help available she gets bothered and cussed at just because she's wearing a blue pole shirt. She don't work here you morons. They can't help their customers go bother someone else as we are already ourselves not liking shopping here and to top it off we are personally getting bothered by the customers that the employees...
