Truth Restaurant & Lounge — Attraction in Portsmouth

I went into this establishment... Enjoying the atmosphere was not hard to do ... The vibe was on point the music was great and the activities was no problem... But it is not fair to charge patrons almost $20 for six wings and french fries.. my problem comes in because the grease that they cook the chicken in was very old and they had the audacity to serve it to me... I'm no confrontational person I will let you get over on me once but never again... So this is my feedback about the establishment this is why the establishment received a one star... At the end of the day I do a lot of socializing and I'm a foodie... It was very unpleasant to eat here and I really wish that my experience could have been better... I normally say compliments to the chef but that was not the case during...

After attending an event on Saturday, we decided to visit here for a quick drink... it was great! During this time we checked out the menu and decided to come back the next day for brunch. After driving over an hour to get there from where we live, we find out that on Sundays they have day parties. Normally, that's fine but after paying $20 to get into a party, we find out that that they have another watered down menu for brunch. I asked some guy who seemed to be in charge and he clearly didn't care. So basically we just paid money to find out that they weren't serving what they have advertised...

The club is fine, they need a mote reliable Keroake Host, the cook needs to make sure that the next time he/she cook egg rolls not to burn them and not to just flip them over in your container so u can't see that they are burst open...people don't like feeling cheated... the bar staff need to make sure they are checking the time during happy hour...if the customer says wasn't it happy hour when I ordered this, their response shouldn't be I dont know!! The staff need to study the prices and the price list every week they charge...
