I was just in the store about 20 minutes ago. I have a few pieces that I was curious about I’ve had them for years. They’re very nice pieces and I wanted to see about getting an appraisal maybe so I can gift them Or sell them. Either way I wanted to learn about them. I was doing all of my research online on who to go to about the sort of thing and Bryan jewelry had the best reviews. Also, I asked around and everyone said to come to this particular jewelry shop and to ask for Lynn well right when I walked in there, I wasn’t even able to ask for there were two gentlemen in the store was helping a customer and the other one had a sweater vest glasses and he was older he was helping no one. When I walked in there was no greeting. There was no there was no there was no what can I help you with? So I just walked up and asked do you do and he was very condescending with his answer , and then I asked him do you guys buy gold? And he told me no. And then proceeded to tell me that the only place he knows that buys jewelry or pawnshops. so I answered back and I told him that his website states that they do buy gold and then he proceeded to ask me, “ do you have any gold?” and I said yes I do. Then he asked me are you sure? Very, very, very condescending tongue so I told him that he was rude. He hurt my feelings and he judged me poorly, and I walked out without any help at all. I am a 40-year-old woman who has collected pieces in the past and i’m not stupid, but he treated me like I am. My heart is absolutely broken. I hear all this great stuff about the customer service at the store. And the store prove me today how terrible...
Read moreThough not well versed in jewelry, I am well versed in metal work & machining and I could have resized my wife’s ring better at home with hand tools. As you’ll see from the photos, the ring was initially quite thick and heavy. We took it to Bryan’s and had it resized, to which they resized to the wrong size and had to try again. Once we got the ring back, the band was noticeably thinner, yet the store adamantly claimed they didn’t “stretch” the ring to resize it. We grew tired of arguing and just accepted it since it was finally the correct size. Well, fast forward just a couple months to now: The ring broke because it was so thin where they “stretched it” (again they claimed they didn’t stretch it, but I’ll let y’all decide from the photos). They said the ring just broke from being worn too much. (I’ve worn rings for years and have never had a gold ring wear in two…and this ring has just been worn a few months and not every day.) The job they did this time was laughable and what I’d expect if I asked Walmart or the Dollar Tree to resize it. It is thinner than even what we received from them the first time and the area where the ring broke has two dots of solder. Again, everyone at the store claimed their jeweler was the “Best we’ve ever had, seen and we trust him”. Folks, I wouldn’t trust them with a gum machine ring from now on. With this type of shoddy work and their failure to admit fault, it makes me wonder what else is happening to to jewelry left there. They will never touch our...
Read moreWhile I love the ring my husband picked out, I have to say this was one of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve ever had in a retail environment. I usually don’t like to post negative reviews but after hearing from multiple people that they experienced the same from here I felt I should. I instantly felt uncomfortable when I walked in. My husband had purchased my ring and I brought it in to get resized. That was my first visit and it was okay. They said to give them at least 5 days but I should receive it back sooner. 2 days later and they called back! I was thrilled! I was surprised how quickly the turnaround was. I left but the ring was too snug. I brought it back and the entire time the young lady was assisting me she seemed like I was a nuisance. Very unpleasant and I just couldn’t wait to get the heck out of there. Again, they had a very quick turnaround and when I walked in not one word was said to me. I walked up and I almost spoke first but I wanted to see how long this would last. FIVE employees there and not one spoke a word to me. When I got up to the counter still nothing was said. She handed me my rings and finally asked how they fit. Thankfully they fit perfectly and I never have to set foot in there again. Absolutely...
