This is the only closest Pho place to Prattville unless driving to Montgomery. Very beautiful place, very well decorated and clean, kinda like a semi fancy restaurant/ reminds me of my go to ramen place. The food is very good, I had the “Deep Fried Egg Roll Salad” or how I call it “Vermicelli/Noodle Salad Bowl” & the Fried Egg Roll. It was interesting having a different sauce for the salad bowl it was sweet and savory similar to the sweet fish sauce I would usually have (addition: I usually have them served with shredded cucumbers and not thinly thinly thinly sliced cucumbers I swear I only saw like 6 thinly thinly sliced cucs).
I would say though the portions are small and more expensive than what I usually order back at home in WA. I would say the range of $$ - $$$. (I’m not sure if the ingredients are hard to come by or just more expensive as there are not many Asian ingredients in proximity).
$23/$24 for a salad bowl when usually I pay for $15 for a larger portion (which fills the go to boxes) which I get more vermicelli noodle, cucumber & lettuce.
The egg rolls appetizer are small 4 pieces (w/mint & lettuce) about a length of a finger, with a filling about the size of a twix/Kit Kat for $14.95 which is double to even triple the price than “normal” - which I would usually pay around $5 or $6 for 2 snicker sized egg rolls. The Pho is a one size only starting at $19+ which would be considered a bit more expensive especially if it’s a sm/md (regular) size compared to other competitors starting small at $12 and large at $15+. Anyways 4⭐️ due to the pricing, but get your bank in an area that does not have much Asian food 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻😂. I’m rating base off of what pho places I’ve been to in WA, the quality of the food and taste is up to par/same very delicious but the pricing is what throws me off a little from wanting to come back. But that’s how you find your loyal customers much love...

Family owned and operated. The cook is Whisky, and his wife Tina runs the dining area. Ask for Tina and ask for her to give you a bespoke orientation to the Vietnamese herbs they serve with their Pho.
Clean. All table water is filtered and put through a high end alkalizer. All table water not consumed is recycled through a humidifying air filtration system that runs through PVC pipe through the restaurant to literally clean the air of pollens and odors.
Authentic. Ingredients are sourced through the local Asian market, which sources from Atlanta. Meat and poultry are so tender. Herbs have no blemishes or pests. Broken rice is so soft and unassuming. Sauces are savory, sweet, and spicy in perfect balance. Dishes are South Vietnamese and Franco-Viet fusion, harkening back to the 1950s failed French attempt to recolonize Vietnam after WWII. Go here to eat your way through history.
Delicious. Thai tea with Boba was the best my wife and I have ever had. Beats anything on Rainbow Boulevard in Las Vegas. The Pho beats the hottest Thai, Korean, and Vietnamese places in the greater D.C. and San Fran areas. Recommend diners sample both the beef and chicken pho broths, both the fresh wrapped and fried spring rolls, and then come back and try the beef stew with French baguette.
Bottom Line. Montgomery (including Prattville and East Chase) are not fine dining Meccas. That makes places like La Taste really stand out with food that one cannot make at home (labor intensive, ingredients not available at the grocery store, unconventional methods). For prices comparable to a chain sit-down restaurant, diners can feast in an impeccably clean environment. Diners who like this restaurant will also like Vintage Year and the...

The restaurant just finally opened this January after closing for an extended period of time. I never been to the restaurant before it closed but after reading the reviews, I thought it should be good as there was a lot of excitement about the grand re-opening. This is by far the WORST viet restaurant I have ever been to. It is total robbery and scam of prices as the menu prices have increased 3 times compared to the old prices posted here. It is probably to pay for the renovation costs. For this price, one can eat better at the fancier restaurants in Montgomery. The food was completely awful. The pho and beef stew was super salty and what disappointed me the most was there was a huge chunk of pepper when the pho was served. I thought that was weird and upon tasting, I guess it was there to compensate for the excess salt. The broth was not pho broth but salt water and grease. Words cannot express how disappointing and insulting it is to the cuisine that this place is - the worst part is everyone there was Viet so one would think it would be authentic. I will definitely not be...
