The woman waiting on me spoke broken English which made it very difficult to understand her. Then she was trying to explain how their sale works. Perhaps she didn't know that this is October now but she was pointing at the sign that explained the sale system. The one piece that I was interested in was on sale, according to the sign but she kept telling me no it was not? Very confusing. Then when i set the piece down she was very quick to get me out of ger hair? She asked if I was done. I said im done with that but I'd like to see the tray with necklaces. There was another woman standing right next to her who evidently wanted to see something out also. The woman seemed to get very flustered and barked at me to take the tray to the counter so they could watch me look at the necklaces. I understand that unfortunately in this day and time there are tons of dishonest theifs in this world but I am not and ill be damned if anyone is going to treat me that way especially with my 10 year old looking on like its ok to treat potential PAYING customers that way! If you've consigned here before, be careful you’re getting paid for items from the previous ownership. I had a $12 credit from their “old system“ and the new owner was refusing to pay it. When I was here before, and tried to use that credit, she said it was in the “old system” - so I said don’t worry about it I’ll just get it when I pick up my check. Now that same person, who checked me out, says she’s the new owner and doesn’t have to pay for that $12. Then I got to hear how it was going to have to come out of her pocket because she’s dealt with enough “crabby people today.” Terrible customer service. I showed her on the website how much it said I had in my account to be paid out for, there was no arguing. When she show me the screen it look like the previous owner had tried to zero out my credit. Smart Girls does bad business. Poor ethics and inept management. Very wishy washy. Said I had less stuff than I had, couldn't find it, put 2 dresses of mine TOGETHER on a rack that I had already searched while my back was turned as I was looking for my things on the other side of the store. They donated most of my stuff before my alotted time was up. Employees cleaned it up by telling the owner that they were afraid of me, when really they botched my whole contract, lost my stuff, and were completely dishonest. They don't even deserve the one star I had to choose to post this. The manager picked out all things for Junior's but the store caters to mature women. Probably should get a job at Taco Bell.
