A nice church. Their post church area in the back is interesting They had little snacks in the back at the end like chips and veggies. The set up is old (as it is a really old place) but they added in various pride flags and BLM to try to make it feel modern. The event I attended was members and invite only but there are options

My Dad took me to see his church and ring the bell. Well kept building for it's age and history.

I was visiting Providence for the weekend with a friend. We were taking pictures of this beautiful historic church when we were energetically invited inside for a tour by a church member. He told us all about the history of the building and even took us up into the clock tower! It had left such a great impression on us that we decided to come to the Sunday Service on the following day.

The service was surprisingly crowded and had a very warm and traditional nature. The music was extremely professionally done, and the minister was very welcoming in his message. After the service, many people stopped to chat with us and introduce themselves. I had never been to a Unitarian Church before and liked some of the philosophies I heard about while visiting. I especially liked the reiterated focus on coming together as one, despite our differences. There also appeared to be a lot of different activities going on and things to get involved with at this church. I would definitely recommend checking it out. If anything, visit the building for it's fine example of preserved early nineteenth century architecture...

this fellowship is one of the biggest things i liked about providence. i was there when the late thomas ahlburn was minister - 1981 to 1996 when i moved to tampa, florida. got to ring the bell - it is the sister bell to the liberty bell in philadelphia. i co-founded the wednesday night NA meeting there - is it still going? miss it very much. getting very old now and will soon pass on. in the words of thomas ahlburn: may your creator watch over you and through all the dark and empty places you must walk. may all...

I rode by this "church" and spotted and conversed with a few members as I had questions what it was about. Politics or Christianity? After a few minutes I was told that they are not a christain church. They don't believe in the bible and they just mashed together all religions and the "sermons" were just motivation speeches. Real christains..who really believe scripture.. and truly believe the word of God and seek salvation should stay away...
