Loco Wines & Liquors Inc — Attraction in Pueblo

Imagine being out of town visitors excited to spend time with extended family for a monumental birthday celebration. After checking into the hotel, we ventured across the street to purchase some Diet Cokes and Diet Tonic for the room. We purchased no liquor. When we checked out, the bill came to $6.88. I handed the woman a $20 bill and received 12 cents back. After I challenged her, she said I gave her a five and three ones. I said I gave her $20. She then said she would go to the back and look at the video of the exchange. Upon her return, she insisted that I had given her $8. I showed her my wallet. I only had twenties in it, and my husband verified that I had given her a twenty. We walked away in utter shock and disgust with the obvious short changing and lack of professionalism. We will never return to Loco Wine and Liquor, and recommend if you go there, watch your wallet and announce what you are giving the cashier. Maybe (or maybe not) it will be caught by their "security camera." Bad...

We recently visited Pueblo, CO, from Wyoming, a state that takes its alcohol pretty seriously, so I've seen my share of impressive liquor stores. Still, Loco Liquors blew my mind not only with their selection of liquors, but their reasonable prices. They even had varieties of my favorite whiskey (Bird Dog) that I'd never seen in my local liquor store. We expect to visit Pueblo in the future, and this place will definitely be our go-to stop for vacay libations!

This place has the largest selection of wine around here I think. They have an international selection as well as local. They just rearranged(And it looks Excellent!) And now they have an Organic wine section! I was so stoked to see that! The staff is always nice and helpful when I ask for something. They dont have many high dollar wines and very limited port as well. Large selection of other red and white wine though. The parking lot has plenty of parking and the store is very easy to get to.
