Dear Richard,
I hope this review serves as an eye opener for you!!! As a steadfast supporter of Bingo Burger since you opened 13 years ago, I feel compelled to express my disappointment following my recent visit to the original Pueblo location.
To put it bluntly, the once clean and welcoming establishment now gives off an aura of neglect and filth. The vent hoods bear witness to months-old grease stains, casting a grim shadow on what was once a clean and inviting atmosphere. This deterioration is not in line with the standards you, Richard, have been known to uphold.
My discontent doesn't end with the hygiene concerns but extends to the recent alterations in the menu. The crinkle cut fries, accompanied with "chili dust," were nothing short of a culinary catastrophe! The fries, once a hallmark of quality showcasing San luis valley potatoes, now resemble the uninspiring mediocrity of frozen alternatives! This shift IS NOT AN EVOLUTION; IT'S A REGRESSION that has left me, fellow patrons and diehards dismayed.
Furthermore, the pricing doesn't align with the declining quality. I've always been willing to invest in quality, valuing it over frugality. However, being charged over $50 for two burgers, fries, and drinks creates an expectation of something extraordinary. Sadly, this expectation was not met. The burger, though tasty, suffered from overcooking--an issue that's hard to overlook, especially considering the premium cost.
I'm not merely offering criticism; I'm expressing a genuine concern for the degradation of a once-beloved establishment. My personal attachment to Bingo Burger amplifies the disappointment I felt during this visit. I implore you to reconsider the recent changes, reassess the pricing strategy, and take immediate action to restore Bingo Burger to its former glory.
The reputation and loyalty of customers are at stake, and I sincerely hope you take these sentiments to heart
I ask that you bypass the routine acknowledgment of "thank you for the feedback" with a genuine explanation for the sweeping changes. Having been a loyal customer for 13 years, it's crucial to convey that my return hinges on substantial improvements. The recent alterations have left me genuinely dismayed and frustrated.
Disheartened but hopeful for...
Read moreI have visited 5 times. The first 2 visits were perfect. Could not have been better!
The last 3 times my order was incorrect. I have ordered "The Bloks" on 4 out of 5 trips to B.B. On my 3rd visit I decided to try the burger of the month ("Gone Shrooming")
I took it to go and once I opened it I realized they left of the mushrooms and the cheese I got a patty, bacon and a bun. ( I asked for no sauce.) (Tasted great but disappointing nonetheless)
My 4th and 5th visits I went back to "The Bloks" unfortunately the same thing happened both times. I took the burger to go and only after getting on the road did I realize that the order was wrong. Both times I ordered it without the garlic cheese sauce and with extra blue cheese crumbles. Both times I got the garlic sauce and no extra crumbles.
So, overall 60% of my visits have resulted in not getting what I ordered and being disappointed.
I noticed that in the 2 visits where I received the correct order that the cashier physically went over to the cook and explained my order to ensure it was correct. On one occasion the cook actually looked over at me and confirmed my order.( Which was awesome)
Also the 2 visits that I got what I asked for were during slow periods. All 3 times that the orders were wrong were during peak hours when it was busy.
So overall I love BB! I think it boils down to a communication issue. If you make a special order it might be a good idea to confirm it verbally with the cook and check it before you leave.
As for me, I am going to stop ordering the Bloks and start ordering a "Build your own" burger. I think that might help the cook to ensure I get what I want.
I love Bingo Burger and really appreciate what they are trying to do and I intend to continue to support their effort to give Pueblo a unique (quirky?) eatery with a cool atmosphere and attentive service from real people. Thanks...
Read moreAlways loved going to Bingo Burger, ever since they opened, and used to eat there weekly in college. It’s still one of my default options for lunch or dinner with friends because it’s quick, convenient, affordable and I enjoy having the access to local ingredients. However, recently I have noticed a trend concerning third party delivery drivers that come to pick up food. Two times within my last several visits I have witnessed the employee(s) behind the register being extremely rude to two separate delivery drivers that have come in. It seems to be their default attitude toward the drivers, automatic disdain and complete rudeness. The first incident involved a female employee, who I believe may have been the manager, berating a GrubHub employee for simply walking past the register to pick up food. She then proceeded to tell him that he needed to call his company and tell them that they need to rework their pickup strategy for the restaurant, as they are horrible and always late. All of this was said in a raised voice in a very crowded restaurant, and it was entirely inappropriate. The driver was very clearly humiliated. Again, this is only one of two instances I’ve witnessed. Perhaps the staff needs to be coached on how to treat delivery drivers. Im hoping this treatment does not reflect opinions of the upper management and owners. As someone who works for a delivery company in her spare time, though I’ve never picked up an order from here personally, this puts a bad taste in my mouth concerning this restaurant, which is a pity, as otherwise it...
