Apologies. I deleted my last review to update it.
As of 5/28/2019 at 6:40PM, Just Furniture called to tell me to take my review down upon getting my drawer in a few days. This is ALSO the very first time they have reached out to call me directly. As I have always been in contact with them. They do not leave voicemail messages either.
So, the new moral to this store's service is: writing a BAD review gets you results, or at the very least, a phone call.
In more detail, I am going to write out my entire experience since before was a mere oversight of what has happened.
So, I had been looking for a bed frame given I had just moved into a new place and was sleeping on an air mattress. I didn't want to get a bed and have it on the floor, because I have dogs and I was worried of accidents or chewing while I was at work.
I had never been to Just Furniture. So, it was a stop I made one day with my aunt and uncle. Curious, we walked in and I immediately fell in love with a black bed frame that, additionally, had storage so my dogs could not crawl beneath the bed. A detail I stressed importance of, given my one dog enjoys crawling beneath places and has trouble getting out from.
The woman I talked to, an older blonde with a nice smile and welcoming tone, immediately talked to me about it. It took a day or two before I decided: this is what I wanted. Now, upon her talking to me, she told me I could have FREE SATURDAY shipping and told me the delivery price would be half of what she DID charge me. That it would take about two weeks to set the weekend and time delivery.
It had taken me a little less than TWO MONTHS to get a call, stating that my delivery was going to be on TUESDAY at ANYTIME. Keep in mind, from the two week point, I had called a few times after that to make sure things were fine and alright. Each time, the woman at the front of the store would snap at me, put me on hold, hung up on me at LEAST once, kept me waiting for long periods of time and would get snippy with me.
So, when I was told Tuesday delivery, I had asked what happened to Saturday delivery. I was told by the very rude woman that answers the phone that she wasn't in control of delivery times and that it was my problem, not hers. Though, we had detailed that my work schedule did not leave me, or anyone else, here at home for weekday delivery unless it was LATE into the evening.
Thankfully, the delivery company was very polite and pleasant. I had reached out and talked to them, asking for the latest time possible. Seeing as to how I am newly employed, I did not want to take the day off and risk my job. They accommodated me. The two gentlemen arrived, set my bed up. Though, as accidents DO happen, the larger drawer on the side of my bed had cracked in shipping.
They apologized to me profusely, made a not on the paperwork to take it back, and told me they would take care of returning it and setting up pick up for a new one. They were very sweet. They were very kind. I have no idea why this shipping company would dirty their hands with such an ill-mannered store.
Immediately after they left, a different woman (not the rude woman), had called my home phone. She double checked to make sure they were in the process of ordering the right drawer. She insisted it would be a week in a half. This was OVER a month ago. Nearly two at this point in time. Mind you, I ordered in February this entire frame.
Well, no one had called. I decided to reach out. I was, once again, very polite when I called to be treated as if I were incompetent. The rude woman, when she'd be the one I would unfortunately talk to, would often ask me if I had returned the drawer. She insisted I didn't on more than one occasion. She would back talk me. Then she'd end our calls with "it'll be a few days."
They would continue to ghost me to the point I had started to call almost weekly. On more than one occasion, they'd tell me "we'll have it on the weekend." No one has ever called me to tell me what was going on. ( Now my review is "too long." Please refer to...
Read moreBUYER BEWARE, BUYER BEWAR, BUYER BEWARE!! READ FINE PRINT, DO NOT TRUST SALESMAN ON THEIR WORD. DOUBLE CHECK AND TRIPLE CHECK. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN AFTER THAT. GOOD LUCK! I have read hundreds of these in my Google lifetime. Some I have heeded. Some ignoredand forged ahead. This is my first negative. Looked at a power recliner in the store on 12/31/18. It was too small for my size. Salesman “Eddie” invited us to look at their catalog. We measured the chair seat width using the store tape measure. We measured me. Eddie offered us, from the catalog, a size option that would fit. Delivery was 12 days later (1st mistake we made). It came to the house and it is the exact same chair I sat on in the store. There are ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS and NO REFUNDS - NO EXCEPTIONS. (Our 2nd mistake). GM - “Gal” called us the next day. Offered to “take a loss” on the $599 chair by offering another chair for $400 more than the one we bought. This “2nd” chair is on the store website for $659. Bottom line - we have a chair we don’t want, for no other reason that it is not the one we were told we were buying. BUYER BEWRE!! NO REFUNDS!!! NO RETURNS!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
1/15/2019 UPDATE: NO, we did not special order this piece. If it is considered special, Eddie did not tell us that it was a special order. He most certainly did not tell us that we would not be able to return what gets delivered - BUYER BEWARE!! NO REFUNDS!!! NO RETURNS!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!! What made it "special" was that Eddie stated that the seat would be 21" wide - HE MEASURED THE CHAIR with the store tape measure and my wife accompanied him. It is NOT a 21" seat - it is 17". If it is considered 21, Eddie doesn't know how to measure properly and hasn't been trained properly. The chair we have is the exact same chair that was on the floor in the showroom that I sat in on 12/31/2018 and told Eddie was not what I wanted. He took us to a store - paper catalog and said that you carry it in a 21"wide seat. Bottom line is I have a chair I do not want and cannot use. "Gal" (General Manager) says you aren't a "pizza shop" that can just change an order. Thanks for that enlightening comment. You obviously aren't customer oriented either because we were sold and delivered the WRONG chair! You have our phone number. Anything less than a replacement of the wrong thing with the CORRECT thing for the same money is unacceptable - SOLELY because Eddie represented...

On July 11th we went into the Just Furniture store in Quakertown. We were looking to purchase our first ever new sectional sofa. We were greeted very nicely and then helped to find the set we ultimately purchased. We were told before ordering that delivery would be significantly delayed due to COVID. 10-12 weeks is what we were promised. We agreed, paid and signed paperwork. I can’t lie, I was super excited that we would soon be sitting on brand new furniture that nobody else had used. After 12 weeks I attempted numerous times to get through to the store but their phone was busy, days in a row. I then proceeded to contact the sales woman who had sold us the furniture. She stated that our furniture was still not at the warehouse and that it was looking to be more towards the end of October, beginning of November. When I asked why I wasn’t informed of the new time frame I was told “we only contact customers once all the pieces of their furniture come in so we can set up delivery”. Fast forward to last weekend and we get a phone call from the same sales woman who stated that the entire sectional has come in but the ottoman has not. She said we could set up delivery for the sectional, which we did. Delivery was supposed to be tomorrow, October 30. I was called this afternoon, again by the same woman, who said that the middle part of our sectional “didn’t fit on the delivery truck” and if we wanted to just wait till they could get everything on the truck at once and have it delivered next Friday. We will now be at 17 weeks before we have our paid for sectional delivered and still no sign of our ottoman. The customer service going into the store to purchase something was great but once you place your order and your furniture is went completely out the window. If I had the option to return the furniture and purchase it somewhere else, I absolutely would. Unfortunately due to my excitement I didn’t look into that and have found out today that there is a no...
