The Next Chapter Books and More — Local services in Quincy

A great store with a comfortable atmosphere and a good selection of books. I found two titles that I've been wanting to read, and I noted a few others that I hadn't heard of before. My wife found a new nonfiction book, a mythology book for our nephew, and a handmade basket.

The space itself is neat and well-maintained. I enjoyed walking around and taking my time looking at everything in stock. They have selections from local authors, as well as signed copies and a whole section filled with kid's books.

Parking was convenient for us; I was able to take a pickup there and fit in the lot, which is not always a guarantee. We need more independent bookstores around here. Glad we decided to stop by, and I'm looking forward...

I was very excited to visit here after seeing an article in the Patriot Ledger. I was not disappointed. In fact I was overjoyed to visit. It is a wonderful and beautifully curated shop. We picked up some great books and special ordered a couple others all which came in in no time. The staff and owner greeted us with a smile and were extremely helpful and answered all our questions.

Delighted to have this small, but well-stocked, independent bookstore in Quincy Center! The owner is lovely and knowledgeable and has created a cozy and welcoming place for adults and kids. Lots of best-sellers, classics and a terrific children's section, too. Like any good bookstore, the Next Chapter also offers beautiful greeting cards and a great selection of gift items. I'm planning to do all of my holiday shopping here, but will continue to support and purchase throughout the year! So, goodbye Amazon and hello...
