This is probably the worst place I’ve ever lived. If I could rate it a 0 star I definitely would. When we first moved in, there were scratches over EVERY SINGLE cabinet. I’m guessing from a previous dog that had lived there. They came in and just painted over the scratches….obviously not fixing the issue and leaving all the scratches. That’s when the problems first started. A couple months of living there, my toilet started to clog at least 3 times a week. Had to keep making maintenance request to fix it. Nothing was working. They decided to get a plumbing service to come and fix it that costed $500. They told us that we had to pay for it. I asked if before they charged us any money if they could get it investigated to figure out the root of the problem because when they “fixed it” it broke again (clearly the problem wasn’t fixed). Of course they went ahead WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION and took money out of our account that we had in there for our rent. Since it broke once again, the plumber came back. It was concluded that the root of the problem were from the builders who redid the bathroom. They put back the money in our account without an apology.
Not even a few months later, I woke up at 5 AM on a work day from our ceiling pouring down water…. There was no emergency maintenance number to call. We were frantic trying to solve the issue. Luckily our trash had been taken out the night before so we put the trash cans under the water that caught most of it. We ran upstairs to our neighbor above us, he didn’t answer the door but you could hear that it sounded like it was pouring down rain in his apartment. After 2 hours…without any help the maintenance guys finally showed up. Turns out the couple living 2 floors above us, kept their bathtub running all night. The leasing office had no care in the world that it had happened. All they said was “oh we heard about that”. No apologies and no solutions. After the flooding happened in our apartment, they sent a company in to “dry” our apartment. They left the dryers in there for weeks. The sound was unbearable. It sounded like a tornado in our apartment 24/7. Not to mention, It racked up our utility bill. The crew they came in to dry the walls , broke multiple things in my closet. What did they do to compensate for any of this? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
We decided to ask to break our lease months before the end date because we were so done with this place. What did they do? Decided to try to make us sign an NDA form about the incidents we had there. We absolutely said we would not do that and we wanted out. The best thing they did while we lived there was let us break our lease early…and trust me that’s not even half the things they did to us there.
*They charged us fake fees to get more money from us. They steal money from everyone (check other comments). Multiple people have said they’ve stolen money
*online and on the signs outside the apartment say that the leasing office opens at 9AM and closes at 5 PM. They wouldn’t even go into the office until at least 10 AM. They wouldn’t even be there past 3 PM most days. They wouldn’t return phone calls or even pick up the phone 90% of the time. I had to call repeatedly for them to answer.
*they have so many issues with mailing. You have to walk to 4 different mail rooms to find packages (a lot of people’s packages have been stolen). They did absolutely nothing to fix these problems.
I will say the only good thing about this place was maintenance. They were always very kind and quick to come in to fix any issues if you had any. The leasing office and management is the worst part about this place.
Do yourself a favor and DO NOT LIVE IN THIS PLACE. Worst experience and the...
Read moreI am not usually one to write reviews but I cannot let this slide. DO NOT LIVE HERE! We have had persistent, moisture, ventilation problems, and water leaks that lead to mold! Despite multiple maintenance requests (over the course of a year!) the leasing office failed to address the root cause of the mold, allowing it to grow out of control. The mold became so bad that I had to throw away a lot of my personal belongings. I have experienced RASHES on my face and body from the mold exposure and my boyfriend has developed a terrible cough. Every time we brought it up to management they would shift the blame to some other cause, never fixing the problems or testing the mold strain or air quality like we asked. We even got expert analysis of the mold and they still did not take it seriously, telling us "mold is just in the air naturally". This complex looks nice from the outside but it is NOT worth the money, the management is terrible and the building is not a healthy living environment. Take your money elsewhere!
ADDENDUM: This apartment complex would rather attack and discredit its past residents than fix the issues. Ventilation is a construction issue that cannot be blamed for either cleanliness (Whatever cleanliness 927 is referring to is not only insulting it's just wrong). Even if we put aside the fact that the mold is a recurring issue in the building as you have so kindly admitted, but shifting blame to ventilation does not excuse you from your responsibilities as landlords. You have a legal responsibility not only to deal with the bare minimum of the issue (refer to cleaning rather than investigating mold spores) but you must also solve these issues if a present and recurring threat is continued. This is not feedback for 927, but rather a warning for others.
TO ALL PROSPECTIVE RESIDENTS: Notice the fact that this company cares more about its reputation than its residents. Anyone who says otherwise has not had to see the dark side of this building. If this matter had been dealt with a year ago, or even 6 months ago properly, then I wouldn't be leaving a review like this at all; yet, the blatant refusal to work with us to fix the issue's core problems and rather to just "replace the rusted fixtures in the bathrooms" is all that they are claiming is the bare legal minimum for them to do. Not to mention the outrageous charges we were hit with to break our lease (over $3,000 just to break the lease, with 2 months additional rent responsibility, plus a multitude additional charges) They are even still charging us for utilities and trash services that we are not using because we are not living there.
But you have to ask yourself, do you want to live in a place where the minimum is...
Read moreDON'T LIVE HERE unless you love constant construction (literally from December to Current), MOLD, dirty communal areas full of trash and pests, dog feces in and around the building, entitled and noisy college-age neighbors, and management who can't or won't do anything to fix it. To call this apartment complex "Luxury" is an insult to the word.
We've been in constant conflict with the management trying to get them to fix the moisture and mold buildup in our bathroom. After over a year, I'm proud to say we broke our lease and are out (finally and after a huge expense on our part even for health concerns). They haven't dealt with the issues and have ignored all advice from experts on mold/moisture issues. This place is one of the worst apartments I have ever stayed in especially for the HIGH price.
ADDENDUM: This apartment complex would rather attack its past residents than fix the issues. Ventilation is a construction issue that cannot be blamed for either cleanliness (again, that's just plain slander. Whatever cleanliness you're referring to is not only insulting it's just wrong). You have a legal responsibility not only to deal with the bare minimum of the issue (refer to cleaning rather than investigating mold spores) but you must also solve these issues if a present and recurring threat is continued. Don't worry, we will talk more about this in person. This is not feedback for you, this is a warning for others.
TO ALL PROSPECTIVE RESIDENTS: Notice the fact that this company cares more about its reputation than its residents. Anyone who says otherwise has not had to see the dark side of this building. I thank their good fortune, but a review is only as good as the experience they've had with problems.
