I relocated to the area a year ago. My initial experience was wonderful, the staff was extremely courteous and professional. Lately, I've noticed a change of the staffs courtesy. Josh the manager is a model of courtesy and professionalism and due to the changes I prefer to pickup when he's on site. Today, at 3:45 pm I was humiliated and called a liar. I explained to Darius that I'd been called to pick up an overflow of mail and a returned package. He had a female staff look for it then told me, "it wasn't there and don't know where it could be." I asked if he could check if the box and mail might be on? He interrupted stated, "your options are to wait and speak to Josh, because he's not a manager and don't get paid enough to go through this"! I was shocked to hear of his salary discontent and waited. Then responded, ok I wasn't finished, I don't believe I would receive an erroneous call. Darius walked away while rolling his eyes and stating "there's nothing back here! Returning he said, like I said, you can talk to Josh on Monday!" I responded, ok may I have a piece of paper so I can get your name. He gave me a piece of paper then said, "you can contact the owner!" I responded, thanks and your name? He pointed to his shirt and said, "its right here!" I informed him I will write a review to which he responded, that's fine, I have great reviews!"
WOW, I have never experienced so argumentative, unprofessionalism from a retail staff. There were other customers in the store and I was completely embarrassed from the experience. I understand it was close to closing to which Darius interrupted our conversation to let the female staff know "her husband was waiting." I'm a loyal customer, makes advance payments, ship packages, use the printer and other purchases at this store. In lite of Mr. Darius' contempt for my business not only will I cancel my box, require a refund for advance payments but take my business to another store. As I stated earlier. I've noticed a change in staff. Well if Darius is the new model of customer service I won't be the only customer...
Read moreI rarely post a negative review, but I had to post this one because this store had a total disregard for my time and my needs as a customer. I had a very important, time sensitive document to notarize. I had a small window of time to notarize it during my lunch hour. Whenever I need a document notarized (which is often), I go to the UPS Store because they normally have a notary available . There was no way to know that this store only offers notary service by appointment before arriving at the store. If they were extremely busy and this was their policy, it would have been more understandable. However there were 4 people visibly working at the store and there was no one in line when I explained to the notary that I just drove 15 miles to their store on my lunch hour. He offered for me to return at 2:00 p.m., to which I explained that I was on my lunch hour and had to return to work. After leaving the store, I decided to give them one more shot at avoiding this negative review by calling. I again spoke with the notary who I believe was also the manager. I told him he could avoid a negative review by calling his supervisor and telling his supervisor that I was going to write this review because of the inconvenience and lack of regard for my needs and time as a customer. His response was that his supervisor would probably just say "you need to make an appointment." Therefore, I guess it doesn't matter that they advertise a service, a customer (one that often needs a notary), came to their business to partake of the service, and the manager / notary completely disregarded the customer's need due to a policy that the customer was unaware of before arriving. If all UPS Stores required appointments, I would be more understanding. I've been to at least 5 different UPS stores in the triangle to have documents notarized and this is the first time a store (that was not busy) would require me to come back later for a service that would have taken less than 2...
Read moreI will NEVER go to this location again. I go to this location literally ALL THE TIME as it is the closest to my home. Typically I experience fast and friendly service. However, I had an issue with my most recent pickup and emailed this location. The email cleared everything up and seemed friendly. Until I went to actually go pick up the order. I was told by the young men working that they were asked specifically to charge me $10 per package pickup. Now, I am not certain if this is a new policy, or some form of discrimination but it certainly rubbed me the wrong way being that it had never been mentioned or occurred before. When I asked why I was simply told by one young man the manager said specifically to ensure that I paid $20 to pick up my items. The other young man said they would be waiving it this go around. Being that it wasn't mentioned to be a new policy and the one young man went into a spiel about how this is a private owned location and they can change whatever they want I simply responded, "don't worry. I won't be back to this location." My suggestion would be that no one who has to pick up a package goes to this location either, but who knows maybe its a fee that only applies to "CERTAIN" people. I would especially make this recommendation if you already paid the vendor for shipping. Now, I don't want this to be reflective of everyone who works there and I know this guy clearly has to be a bad apple given that I've not had other experiences like this, but I DEFINITELY thought it was worth mentioning in the event others have also experienced this but decided not...
