Review of Clean Juice NH

My first visit to Clean Juice NH was incredibly disappointing and frustrating, and I regret to say that I won't be returning. Upon arrival, I wasn't greeted, which set the tone for the poor customer service I encountered throughout my visit. I ordered a 24 oz 'Create Your Own' juice and an Acai bowl, which totaled nearly $32—far more than I anticipated for just two items.

As the attendant started preparing my order, I noticed an unexpected charge of $5.50 on the receipt, labeled without any explanation. When I questioned the MOD (Manager on Duty) about it, she informed me that the charge was for requesting no ice in my drink. This revelation caught me off guard, as no one had mentioned this fee to me beforehand, nor was it posted anywhere in the store. I expressed my frustration, emphasizing that it was my first visit and the cashier failed to disclose this charge. While the MOD acknowledged the oversight, she did little to resolve the issue proactively.

Eventually, after insisting on a refund for the undisclosed fee, the MOD agreed but only refunded $2.15 out of the $5.50. Feeling deceived and misled, I was thoroughly disappointed with the entire experience. Even the quality of the juice and Acai bowl fell short of expectations, necessitating additional enhancements to improve their taste.

To add to the poor service, the attendant handling my Acai bowl tossed it onto the counter rather than handing it to me or placing it neatly, and didn't even mention where I could find utensils.

Given this unsatisfactory visit, I am seeking a response from the owner or district manager of Clean Juice NH for a full refund and an explanation regarding the misleading charges and lack of transparency. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I have no intention of patronizing Clean Juice NH in the future.

Update (4 days later): I was still awaiting a reply from leadership regarding this matter (only received today). When I did not receive one, I filed a dispute with my bank due to the unethical actions of the employee. The MOD that day did actually did not process the agreed-upon refund. The next morning, I checked my bank account, and was still charged the full amount. The partial refund of $2.15 (not agreed on) was never issued, despite the second receipt indicating so. Furthermore, this amount does not make sense, as the MOD had verbally agreed to refund the full $5.50. Neither amount has been credited back to me. Again, the charge for "no ice" was not disclosed at the time of purchase, not posted anywhere, nor communicated by the associate. It feels as though my money has been taken without proper explanation, justification, or rectification. I have both receipts to support this (as seen below in prev. post), and it appears the transaction was mishandled. This reflects poorly on the business, suggesting a lack of honesty and reliability. I also suggest retraining of the staff on clearly communicating charges to all customers, especially those who are visiting for the first time, like myself.

I have emailed the owner at her request and am awaiting/anticipating her reply.

Update: As of 7/14/24, the owner has not responded to my two emails, despite requesting that I send them (per her below response). I now consider the matter closed and do not wish to pursue further discussion with her. I worked it out with my bank! Her lack of leadership likely explains the behavior of...

I visited today and the customer service was nonexistent/offensive. When I walked in not only was I not greeted, I wasn’t provided with directions such as “Hey you can order on our screen or I’ll be with you in a minute”. I wasn’t provided an introduction to the menu or even told about the $5 off your first order until I was about to pay for my order. I had to inform the young lady that it was my first time. She seemed pretty annoyed that I wanted to sign up and receive my $5 off instead of waiting until my next visit.

The place wasn’t crowded, there was only one other person when we walked in and two workers. Caitlin was my cashier when she provided the smoothies to me and my girls we all said thank you she never responded, my daughter is 2 years old. To make matters worse, once we got our smoothies, Caitlin and her co-worker went in the back area. My niece, who is 5 years old, asked “why weren’t there any workers” and “was the place closed”.

All day I was looking forward to treating them to smoothies and finding a place where we could sit down at. This place is super close to our house too. I’m not sure if it was an off day for Caitlin, if she didn’t receive proper training in customer service, or if my race impacted the quality of service we received. I’m also not sure if I’ll be a...

I have been here three times and have had good experiences until today. The drinks aren’t overly sweet and I like that. Today I decided to try two new flavors- youthful and intense. The intense ingredients sounded good but the drink was not even edible. I took one sip and said something’s wrong. The employee said “yeah, that one’s an acquired taste.” I’m not a picky eater at all so for me to not like something is unusual. She suggested adding honey which we did but that did not improve the taste. Then she said “ I think it’s the fish oil that gives it the odd taste.” Fish oil? That’s not listed as an ingredient! I said I can’t drink this and she just shrugged. I left the drink on the counter after paying for it and was mad at myself for not asking her to make me another flavor. If the owner reads these, please train your employees to make sure customers...

Very disappointed that they have started mass producing their juice cleanse. Don’t waste your money on their trend. When I first started coming to clean juice, they had just opened in Morrisville, they pressed everything in house and the cleanse actually worked, because it was FRESH! Now they are just like all the other places that suck. The juice cleanse bottles used to expire in 1 week maybe 10 days , now they have expiration dates that are 2 months out. The cleanse didn’t work this go round and I bought it for surgery prep. It’s frustrating. I could have got the same crap from a place a lot closer to home. I hope to find a place that does everything fresh again. ~Signed - Super disappointed customer!

Minus one star for inconsistency, but loving this spot. The Longevity One Smoothie - Yum! It's more like a juice than a smoothie, and had separation but it was very good. Will order again. The Be Happy Bowl - So good! The second time I ordered there was hardly any chia pudding and less fruit on top which was a real bummer but it was still good. Update: chia pudding is no longer on the menu. Service was especially great my first visit. She told me about their app, and the $5 off the first purchase. WIN! The app is straight forward for tracking points towards rewards, past purchases, and ordering ahead. Looking forward to my next visit!
