Sunrise Event Center and Banquet Hall — Attraction in Rancho Cordova

I am so happy to share my awesome experience with sunrise Event center, We started planning our party for a quinceañera for my beautiful daughter since September 2024, customer service was great since our first meeting , our first impression was so special, the owner’s assistant treated us with respect, gave us our time to explain the different options for the venue, we met with the assistant twice, next meeting to discuss and sign contract was with Yasemeen the owner, she is a very sweet lady, very attentive and very patience when it comes to listen to concerns and to request suggestions, the owner did such a great job from start to the end, along the way until the day of the big day she was very helpful and always willing to help if we needed something else. The day of the event everything was excellent, exceptional food, excellent customer service by the girls helping in front checking the tables and refilling waters and cleaning tables, decoration left us speechless because it was gorgeous, my wife and my daughter loved it, all the guests loved it , we got lots of complements by our guests the day of the event and after the event, they made great comenta about the food, the service, the cleanliness the f the place and of course the exceptional decoration and the atmosphere of the place , everybody loved it, and of course we are so happy with over all of the service and the attention we got from Yasemeen, I’d like you to know that everyone did a great job, all of your people treated us so well, also want to mention that your assistant Naser was very effective, he did a great job on everything too, long story short, we él had a great experience with your place, so I invite whoever is planning a quinceañera, a wedding is other type of event to come see Yasemeen to plan and help you with your party, don’t let me forget to mentioned that prices are affordable and very competitive, everything was great. I don't leave bad reviews for all business but this place was super nice. Yasmin the owner of sunrise Event center and Banquet Hall was super nice. Also, Nilab & Nasir Jan who is her worker was a hero. Overall, everyone was super cool until the day I married came in June 6 . On the due date of my marriage, there were two bodied Mexican persons male & female who were too rude who when we asked a couple of question, they stated having a bad attitude with my guests and family members. The ordeal made me alittle bit dissapointed. However, they continued being rude even after tipping them 150$ in the end. Ideally, there were some positives as well as the Hall decorated by Nasir Jan was Super nice clean which I really appreciated🌹🌹🌹 Special Gift for Him later. He was super nice before, during and even towards the end of the event give me excellent attitude. I can say the organizers did some super cool job in the whole event. Howerever, they need to change a little bit about the 2 workers, a man and a lady both of Mexican origin. Other than two workers, the place is super cool and provides the best experience for parties, functions and any event. I would leave all the five stars because of Nasir Jan and the other owner who made me happy and I would really recommend anyone else who would like to celebrate their wedding party anniversary. I would really like to appreciate the organisers and the facilitators for their best services provided. If everyone cooperates including the two Mexican workers, am pretty sure everyone will have a 100% experience of a range of wonderful...

The venue is nice but the management is nasty and disrespectful. Yasmeen, (although initially seemed accommodating before she received the money) soured my event by constantly giving attitude to my guests and gave people a hard time for minuscule things like hanging decorations up on the walls with command strips - or scolding people for “leaving the door open and letting flies in” during the set-up time. She did not clear the back room she said would be available for use and on the day of the event it was filled with junk and boxes — when one of my guest helpers asked politely if she could empty the room she rolled her eyes and said “she’d get to it when she gets to it”. She then pretended that she “never agreed to give us the back room” to avoid accountability for her negligence.

Literally ten different people throughout the event came up to me to complain about her attitude and I had to keep calm so as not to escalate conflict during the event. She felt like she was doing us a favor by executing her basic duties of the contract.

Management is unprofessional, arrogant and have no concept of customer service. I recommend avoiding this venue and looking for people who aren’t on a constant power trip and have actual management and service skills. The custodial staff were kind and friendly, unfortunately it was overshadowed by the management’s nastiness....
