This was our first visit to Bedroom & Sofa Discounters, and we were highly satisfied with our experience. We recently moved to CA while our two daughters stayed in PA to finish college. They decided to spend summer break with us, which meant we needed two new mattresses rather quickly. We didn’t want to invest too much into something that gets minimal use, so we set a firm budget. We decided to go to three reputable stores to compare the price, selection, and quality. We picked a favorite from each of the first two stores and moved on to the last, which was Bedroom & Sofa Discounters. All three stores had a good variety of quality mattresses within our price range, but our choice became clear once we met Sunny. He’s so passionate and knowledgeable about the furniture business. He listened to our needs, wasn’t pushy, and even made recommendations, elsewhere, if he felt he couldn’t meet our needs. He went above and beyond for us, even making a few adjustments to get us the mattresses we wanted within our budget. Sunny exudes human kindness and honesty, and great customer service is extremely important to him. Besides all of that, once we learned it is a family-owned business, it was a no-brainer. I wanted an affordable, new sofa, and to support a small local business in the process. If this sounds like you, check this place out. After doing a good deal of research, I decided to stop in to see their inventory. Randolph, the owner was kind, courteous, and very helpful. He assisted me promptly, and measured different sofas in the showroom for me, and knew a great deal about each piece. They had an abundant selection and not only did I find one couch I loved, there were actually a few options I would have been happy to take home (whereas other stores I had a hard time finding even one couch I liked within my budget)! I asked a lot of questions and took up a good amount of his time, and he was so helpful and kind. Fast forward to a week later, my new couch was delivered this morning (we had to special order the specific color I wanted). It came so quickly, and they delivered the boxes right into my living room with no trouble at all. I have yet to assemble my couch,but because I am rating the company, and not the manufacturer of the couch, I didn't think it was necessary to wait to leave a review until after I assemble it. My husband and I were looking for a chaise sectional with specific measurements and everywhere we looked had too big or too small options. We searched all over and it was getting to the point that we were going to gamble by just ordering one online. We stopped into this sofa discounters and found not 1, not 2, but 3 sofas we liked! The owner was extremely helpful and showed us different color options for the sofas we liked. He was very informative and explained to us how covid has impacted the furniture business such as making products more scarce and expensive. This is why so many furniture stores have been asking such exorbitant prices for their furniture. This place was well within our price range and we highly recommend checking it out. We ordered a sofa that thankfully just got into stock that day. The owner was able to deliver it to us within the week, and we are much more comfortable and grateful for our beautiful new couch!
