Montecito Apartments — Attraction in Rancho Cucamonga

My wife Jenn and I are SO very sad that we have to leave this wonderful community. The only reason we’re leaving is because we bought our first home together. However, I must say starting our life together in this apartment complex leaves us with nothing but good memories. We have been here for 3+ years and have many positive things to say. The staff is very helpful, friendly and they go out of their way to be of assistance to you in person and over the phone. The staff in the leasing office is professional, respectful and engaging. The maintenance crew is also very professional and will drop everything to help you when you need it. There have been a handful of times either my husband or I have been in a pinch and the day/night crew have been very understanding and done whatever they could to help. We are so appreciative of the clear communication that the staff has with the tenants, providing us with letters/notes on our door to let us know about news/updates/information. Also it is really nice that all the staff always smiles and says hello, which goes a long way. This is the safest apartment we have ever lived in; I can honestly say there is zero crime. The area around the complex is quiet and we rarely hear sirens. The grounds are in great shape, manicured lawns/shrubs/trees and Montecito is always improving the grounds to ensure they look attractive. I notice the pool and many spas are taken good care of and are attended to on a regular basis. The inside of the apartment is very nice with updated appliances and counter tops. We have never had any negative experiences living here and have been very lucky to have had such polite and friendly neighbors surrounding us. So in closing we are very sad to say good bye to our apartment, awesome staff and wonderful people we have met around the complex but we're so excited for the next chapter of our lives. My husband and I found Montecito by "accident". When we went to view the unit we decided to rent. Biggest mistake of our lives. Try getting maintenance!!! My dryer was leaving a residue on our clothes that when you attempt to take off would leave holes. Needles to say hundreds of dollars of clothes ruined. They put off replacing the washer dryer (stack able) unit and when they did replace it we still had the same problem. My garage door was not working one morning. I called in a request for service and was told it was fixed. When I got home it still did not work. I put in a second request, that must have been lost because again nothing was fixed. Finally after the third request It was repaired. The staff in the offices is always different because of "promotions" so they claim. Now that we have moved out they claim that we still owe money on top of our security deposit. I will admit carpeting in one room needed to be replaced. They told the carpeting is installed in one piece for the entire apartment. I was not born yesterday that is not how carpeting is installed. WORST CUSTOMER...

We have been living in these apartments for over 5 years me and my wife are an elderly couple and I would say out of no where it’s gotten bad due to management.. they let just who ever live here I stay across the parking lot from 5 grown men not sure their nationality, but these guys are constantly in the parking lots at night screaming with each other, constantly roaming the parking lots snooping at people cars and people garages just looking for what ever they can find it seems, collecting groceries carts leaving them around the property, cigarette butts all over and sometimes they even cross to our side of the parking lot and will be walking around looking in peoples porches and just snooping around! many neighbors have complained about these problems management doesn’t care, and it’s multiple apartments like this..we aren’t sure what apartment they belong to I just know it’s the bottom corner apartment in the 11343 building facing the parking lot but these guys are a nuisance!
