SportsCare Arena — Attraction in Randolph Township

For the last several months, we’ve been taking our daughter on Friday nights. The things that are allowed to go on at this place are absolutely ridiculous. There are no adults anywhere to ensure things are running smoothly or making sure that the teenagers that are there are acting appropriately. It's SO Dangerous! kids are throwing things on the ice, kids are LAYING on the ice, no employees DO A THING!!! My daughter called was the N-word last night and she went up to one of the people that they had working and he did NOTHING. This place is a liability waiting to happen. A child is going to get hurt there. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of WHEN. Whoever runs this place is an Idiot and clearly doesn’t care about liability and a lawsuit because that’s what they are going for hiring CHILDREN to oversee children. One night we were there and basically all the lights were off .. It was dangerous . The ice hadn’t been cleared and had divots all over it … I’m gonna be reporting this to other places too This is disgraceful that this is the only rink that we have around here and it’s run so poorly. whoever owns/ runs the place is so cheap that they’ll only pay children to work there. We lived here for almost 20 years. Last night was the last time my daughter will be at that rink. I will never ever step foot in Aspen...

We've had 2 parties here & have been to free skate a few times. The parties aren't run very well: one occasion it was very frustrating to have a noon party & have the "Leader" show up to start her set-up at noon. The second time we had to wait for the scheduled Hockey game to end because it was running into our party time on the ice because of overtime. The business clearly didn't care that it went over & we were reasonably frustrated as two of our guests had to leave 15 minutes early meaning they missed most of the fun after we started over 20 minutes late.

The rink itself is nice but if you are unfortunate enough to have the younger hockey team skaters hang around they WILL terrorize the rink by skating dangerously close & fast to other guests which is not good for new skaters. The staff lets them get away with it.

Here right now on a Friday night and the skate staff on ice are a bunch of kids who themselves are acting reckless by racing end to end with the other kids. And the one adult who is here to manage these teenagers says nothing. It like these teenage rink staff could care less about hurting someone by acting reckless themselves. Meanwhile this place makes you sign a waiver that you skate at your own risk. I go to enough rinks to know that my boys and I skate at our own risk but when your rink staff themselves act reckless on the ice, that's not an acceptable risk. Never have a ever been to a rink where the on ice staff acts this reckless.....not Codey, not Korpi,...
