I finally made it to the Rapid City Farmers Market, and my heart is so full! Growing up in Utah, my parents owned a produce stand and greenhouse, so farmers markets have always been part of my soul — three days a week of fresh produce, the smell of flowers, friendly faces, and community. They’re near and dear to my heart, and stepping into this one felt like stepping back into that part of my childhood.
It may be on the smaller side, but it’s overflowing with charm, color, and life. The vendors are some of the nicest people you’ll meet — you can feel the pride they have in their craft, whether it’s fresh juice, vibrant produce, homemade goods, or beautiful local art. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm, the kind that makes you slow down, wander, and smile at strangers.
