I was working on consolidating my guitar "collection". I was selling some guitars privately and trading some in, so I was working with a variety of music/guitar shops from Raritan to Somerville down to Lambertville. I found the Raritan Music store and their employees to be professional and knowledgeable. After selling some guitars... I ended up buying a new one haha Back and forth from store to store, I ended up at RMS and buying one of their beautiful Alvarez guitars....

Very nice staff although the prices for renting instruments is about 6X the cost of owning. I would love to support our local businesses, but renting from Raritan Music Store didn't make any sense to me. Research online prices if you don't want to get taken advantage of. I Paid $30 to own a 1/2 violin online; Raritan wanted $189 to rent...
