Caldwell Park — Attraction in Redding

Beautiful Historical park. Blatant disregard for this fact is not tolerable..no matter your struggles or condition..we need respect the city area and law enforcers and first responders for this city..cant just move in to desicrate or disregard If you here you support the flag those in uniform and we obey the laws here in the north state. Note to you few who think its others responsibility to fix your demonized perceptions..nope we all have this in some degree..but if you clean up your body and pray asking for the mercy of The Messiah who died fir all..once. ask Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah He will help..promise you do the foot work Holy Spirit leads..hell on earth is a cake walk compared to living it eternally..what does thus really mean..ask and you shall receive knick and the door is opened. Respect the beautiful north sate. PUT YOUR TRASH WHERE IT BELONGS.

Caldwell park is in the center of the old side of Redding. it's a very nice park very spacious lots of green grass . you're right across from the river and the best part is the river trail goes right past it . so you can ride your bike all over the place but there is a warning about this park! You have to be aware of your surroundings. there are a lot of bums homeless people and druggies. be aware of your surroundings! don't let your kids out of your sight. it's just the way it is with this park so you're going to want to go to this park midday as it gets into the later evening it's time to go home . because the creepy people come out. Don't let this keep you away from the park though. they generally leave people alone unless someone go's up to them and start trouble meetings don't mess with them they won't mess with you. If you have some typical street-smarts you have nothing to worry about. go midday bring your kids if you have them and enjoy yourself. . .♡ I love to ride my bike on the River Trail so I ride through this part quite often because the river trail goes straight through it. the river trail is a paved trail you can ride your bike and it goes on for Miles . you can pick the difficulty as far as how many miles and it goes across a couple suspension bridges. you can Google( River Trail Redding ) and probably find something about this. this park is part of that system. This park also has a giant swimming pool and has evening movies on special days . it's more for kids teenagers small kids and family's are all welcomed . this is mainly a summer event as far as movies go. So there is a little bit of hesitation I assume you have to have a some Street smarts keep an eye on your kids . but I don't think this should keep you away this is a good Park and a fun place to go and definitely bring your kids and your bikes if you have them. Redding as you know has a lot of bumps and what not. so it's just the way it is nowadays. But go midday on a weekend or something and go enjoy yourself at Caldwell Park I don't think you'll be...

PLEASE READ IMPORTANT INFO 4 PARENTS * Awesome skatepark much needed here in Redding. As someone who’s been skateboarding for 10+ years and is part of the Redding skate scene we greatly appreciate it…..

HOWEVER please SUPERVISE your children. Letting your small children slide play and run around on the skatepark while there is a perfectly fine (huge af) park with slides right there is UNACCEPTABLE. There have been countless times where myself or another rider has almost gotten seriously injured because of your kids. Most of the people skating are good enough to try and avoid it but accidents happen and I can see some Karens getting seriously pissed at a skater / rider when the parents would be totally at fault for letting them run around in a professional grade transitional bowl that’s being used as intended by riders. And of course we would never want to hurt your kids. Also if your child is not comfortable riding and making sure to take turns while there are a bunch of intermediate - advanced people skating / riding, the old skatepark or the bike pump track is a great place to learn to roll around on boards bikes and scoots until they are comfortable and can learn skatepark etiquette.

This park is amazing and would love to keep it a good place...
