The food:
Their salads are very good. It looks and tasted like fresh ingredients were used and they were not overly dressed. French Dip was not worth the price it was miniscule. I literally took small bites to make it last and within 6 - I had finished. Kid's Mac n' Cheese was fine.
The service:
Blasé at best, insulting at worst. It was the treatment I expect from the quintessential French Waiter. I don't appreciate not being offered a children's menu; I don't appreciate waiting almost 10 minutes to be greeted when there are only 5 other tables being used and all were cashed out or in the middle of eating (ex-server here, pay attention to these things); being HANDED MY PLATE at a sit down restaurant; not offering bread to the table; not getting checked on AT ALL by the server; had to flag down the server to get a box for our food and the check especially since he was so busy attending his last 2 tables that had already paid. Did you know that this place is called Cheesecakes Unlimited? I bet they might actually be tasty, but we would never know because we weren't offered dessert. Truthfully, even if we were, we might have been so mad at being up-sold at that point that we might have said something unpleasant. Are we coming back here again? No, this establishment does not deserve our hard earned money. I will say, the restaurant was clean and airy and our server's gauges fit his earlobes perfectly and his septum piercing was...
Read moreCame here for the first time. The restaurant was empty as seen in the photo. But very clean. The menu is small. Items are limited. They only have 6 kinds of cheesecakes, even though they call themselves "cheesecakes unlimited". I ordered fried calamari for the appetizer, very good, enough for at least 2 people. The salad I got was an in house caesar salad, the dressing had on odd flavor to it. I sent it back. I ordered the grilled teriyaki salmon with risotto and seasonal veggies. The salmon was cooked correctly and risotto was on point. The broccoli was to be desired, a little on the soggy side, but flavorful. On to dessert, ordered the raspberry cheesecake with housemade caramel sauce and whipped cream. You can definitely tell that it is made in house, it's very smooth and soft. The flavor is excellent. The whipped cream does also taste like it is house made. Now the service at this restaurant was more spectacular than the food itself. Laura J. was great as our server. Very helpful, but not overpowering. We also met Ashley, a new server from Arkansas, it was her first night and she did impress. Overall I give this restaurant a 4 out of 5, I think the menu could use some expanding, but for what they have it was good. I definitely...
Read moreWent to this place for the first time ever with my wife for date night and live music. Music was good. Appetizers were good. Service was terrible!! After waiting a few minutes to be greeted by a server, we were asked in a mono tone “Do you have any questions or concerns?” No “hello” or “welcome to Cheesecake Unlimited”. Then our drinks took forever to come out. Wife found out that when the drinks were made, they were just sitting at the bar. This was after the third time of waiting 15-25 minutes for refill. Our waitress was very tentative to other tables though, especially one in the back with a group of about 8 people. They had ordered their food, drinks, appetizers and refills many times before my wife got her second refill.
To be honest, it’s a shame because it’s servers like this who make it hard for people to want to return. If I’m going to spend $70 dollars on food and drinks, I want to have good service. Not feel like I’m making their life miserable by being there. Would have stayed for dinner if I could count on getting drinks refilled quicker. Yes I know I wasn’t only one in restaurant, but other servers were working hard for their tables. Wished I had gotten to be served by them instead of our...
