Volunteering for the Jr Giamts is a great way for my son and I to keep up on our skills while also teaching some the game for their first time. I was also able to find a few camps my son and daughter both enjoyed. The skateboard camp was perfect for my son to finally break through the I can't mindset he was in. Camp Eureka taught my daughter a lot about nature and taking responsibility for ourselves and to do our part to protect the environment. There are people selling fresh veggies, chicken and duck eggs, as well as hand raised, artisan meats. It's a good place to meet people and have a cup of coffee and a tamale. They open at 7:30am every Sat. morning until about noon.
