Best way to enjoy the Beach coastline! This E-Bike ride tops it all! From Start to Finish –First Class service and lots of fun. Cruising along the paved bike trail, we were able to feel the ocean breeze while enjoying the scenic route. We stopped and locked our bikes for an hour for a rooftop drink and snack, overlooking Venice Beach. The Boardwalk and Muscle Beach was of course also a must see. Back on our bikes, we headed to the next beach. I really loved the walk on the soft sandy beach including the short cooling off period as we went into the water, challenging the ocean waves. Especially fascinating for me along the way is the fact that every beach home had its own architectural charm, regardless of the year when it was built or renovated. I ordered an e-bike (EB) online which was delivered to me unassembled, as the cost of pre-assembled EB was beyond my budget; After making several calls to different bike shops in the South Bay area, I took my EB to Beach e Biking located at the King Harbor pier in Redondo Beach for assembly. They assembled the EB, showed me how to use it, adjusted the handlebar and the seat to my height, and provided important cautionary points outlining the key safety features that are quite different from riding my regular bike. After I got used to riding the EB safely, I took it back to them for further adjustments of the handlebar and seat.

Great time the whole day! We started our trip on this wonderful sunny day in Hermosa City Beach by the Tim Kelly surfer statute. The bikes were delivered to us at the starting point and we received easy understandable introductions of how to use the bikes. Our destination goal – Santa Monica Pier. The 30-mile round trip is supposed to take about 2 and 1/2 hours. We however were not in a hurry enjoying the whole day, taking in the scenic sights along the oceanfront and stopping several times along the way. We not only buried our toes in the sand we also cooled off in the ocean, letting the waves massage our backs. We had a great day with perfect bikes and a very good service from Andrea and Mark.
