I really enjoy reformer pilates. This location is so convenient. There's plenty of free parking in the building (entrance is off PCH just south of Palos Verdes Blvd). The instructors at this location are really good. I managed to snag the special monthly rates. I was choosing between 8 classes a month vs. unlimited classes a month. The price difference was $50 or the equivalent of about two classes. Previously. I never had taken more than 2 classes a week, so I thought 8 classes were plenty. The true difference between these levels isn't the number of classes a month, but rather when the future classes become available to you to book. The unlimited members have first choice on all the classes on the schedule because they are open to them to book. Whereas everyone else needs to have an available class credit to book. My membership starts on the 15th, so I can book classes from the 15th to the 14th of the next month. On the 15th, I am free to book, but usually, these classes are full for the next two weeks. I can generally join as #5 or more on the waitlist. From experience, I won't be able to get into the class on the 15th, but I've been able to join in classes for the 17th forward despite having had so many people ahead of me. I'm generally waitlisted those first two weeks of the month, which is aggravating. I'll stay diligent about those classes, and I've managed to get into those classes sometimes the night before or as late as the hour before it starts. Final thoughts- I'd still recommend Club Pilates, and if you get special pricing for unlimited, get it. It's worth it....
Read moreAbsolutely the worst experience I’ve had with any fitness or wellness business. Redondo Beach Club Pilates has the most unresponsive and disorganized staff I’ve ever encountered. It takes a minimum of TWO WEEKS to get a response to an email or text—if they respond at all. They also don’t pick up the phone, so good luck if you have any issues (and you will). I joined this club through my employee benefits program.
I lost nearly an entire month of my paid membership at the start because no one bothered to help me get signed up properly or set up with the app. Then I lost even more time later on dealing with ongoing app issues that no one helped resolve. The support is practically non-existent.
To make it worse, they started charging me extra hidden fees that were never disclosed, and they didn’t even notify me directly—just sent it to collections. No emails, no texts no mail layers NOTHING! Those fees were associated with being on the waitlist and coming off the waitlist right before the class starts and not knowing or being notified that there are fees associated with not being able to make it. They also charge you LATE FEES starting only 10 DAYS after that and keep charging you even though you’re in touch with them! The only time I heard from them was via a third-party collection agency. That’s how they "communicate" apparently. SCAMMERS!

They make it so easy to sign up and say you can cancel anytime.. when you try and cancel you cant get a hold of anyone! The Torrance location had someone to answer the phone and call me back but they let me know that redondo and torrance are different ownership completely and good luck.
Well I copied what it said on the website "cancel anytime" the response when someone finally got back to me was ... yes you can cancel anytime but it has be a 30 day notice otherwise you have to pay the entire month still. that is hilarious. Yes you can cancel anytime on your time but not when it comes to actually canceling and stopping payment that is 30 days.
It's sad for these great instructors that they don't have management that supports them. And they know it.
Please listen to the other comments that say this exact same thing. Dont think they have changed because they havent.
And when they knew I was upset not being able to cancel they said "we wish you the best of luck" hahahaha.. I need it if I want to get a hold of anyone. When calling and calling someone picks up the phone and says to leave an email and someone will get back to you in a little over a week. I asked to speak to the/a manager and they said - cant do that email is best.
