Do not EVER book a wedding at this hotel. If you do, I pray that your experience goes better than mine did. My husband I had our wedding at the Redondo Beach Hotel on 09/21/2024. While our wedding was amazing, the hotel staff, managers, and the overall experience itself was horrible. The day of our wedding, there was no manager on site. The hotel claims there was from "their" notes but myself, my husband, my mom AND the young man that worked the front desk that day said that there wasn't a manager on site. If there was a manager, she NEVER came to or around my event. Additionally I was working with Andrew, the EVENT planner, not another manager that never showed up. During the reception, my mother went downstairs asking for manager to see if my staff that I had to hire, could get water pitchers for my guests. The front desk associate stated, that there was no manager on site. That was around 5pm. My husband went down to find a manager to ask if we could get the AC turned on, the front desk associates said there was no manager. I should have taken there names down but I know one of them was a young black male early to mid 20s. There was one older lady, I believe she was from house keeping or a staff member, moving 100 chairs by herself. If there was a manager on site, they could've directed the staff that I had to hire, on moving the chairs. But I myself, the bride, had to direct them and everything else while tending to my guests. Andrew said that according to his notes that were for him that "Cheyenne" was there. Of course their staff is going to stick up and cover for their co worker. I am a very honest and blunt person and it was my wedding day. Why would I lie about the chaos that happened, why would my mom or husband make up a a story of there not being a a manager on site when we all wanted things to be ran smoothly. They also charged a bartender fee which from our understanding was included in the event fee which the contract stated. And the event fee was paid for before the wedding. They charged a corkage fee days after the wedding when the bartender told us that was included when we paid for the drinks already. I have never in my life endured so much chaos from a wedding. Also, the fact that we had to bring our own plates, utensils, and glasses to an event space is mind blowing to me. Why would you have a space that holds a capacity of 100 people but you do not have or offer dinnerware? I get that there is no kitchen there, which is fine, but how do you not offer water or drinking glasses? If you host weddings, why are complimentary spaces for the wedding party to get dressed in and waiting in? Out of all of the venues toured, this one didn't offer anything! One of my husbands friends that works at a hotel right across the street from this one, had to offer us a room but it was already too late and everyone had to get dressed in the bathrooms. Andrew was very helpful in the beginning but towards the end, he started going back on his word on which he originally said i.e. taking down the picture frames/replacing the pictures. Telling us that we could pay the bar tab after the wedding payments and not even checking first to see if that was possible before telling us that we could. He wanted to leave emailed documentation of messages exchanged between he and I about the room but wasn't at the event to help facilitate LIKE HE SAID HE WOULD. And that was told to not only me, but my husband, my aunt, and y cousin who was there in April 2024 doing a final walk through of the venue. Where were your notes when you said that? To read that someone else had their wedding there and stated that Andrew, Cheyenne, and Florina were there and helpful and not at mine is...

As parents of the groom, we wanted to give a very special rehearsal dinner for our son and his beautiful bride. The Redondo Beach Hotel’s rooftop was the perfect venue. Florina and Andrew were more than accommodating when approaching them with the idea of the welcome reception for 75 guests which represented food stations from everywhere the couple lived. This meant designing the floor plan on the roof, multiple visits and lots of emails.||When we arrived a few days before the event, I called Florina to let her know we were arriving and she kindly offered us a space for all of the decorations and candy buffet items. This was a huge relief because everything would not fit in the hotel room. Then to our surprise, both Florina and Andrew came down to the car to help us unpack and take the boxes to storage. This was so amazing and saved us many trips, plus who does that? It was beyond all of our expectations to have this level of help. Wait, it gets better. We had several more deliveries like flowers and food and the front desk staff was so accommodating in opening the space for our items which was secured and locked. ||Everyone at the front desk greeted our guests with a welcome bag which is lots of work! The day of the event, Florina checked in with us several times to make sure everything was going great. She offered our caterers their own working area while we used the room next to the roof getting all of the decorations assembled. Florina brought us an excellent speaker and microphone for the toasts and music. We even had new tablecloths for the tables that looked fantastic! Then Florina goes above and beyond once again, she lit all the votives for us and makes sure everything was perfect.||I also want to give a huge shout out to Cheyanne Schlautmann, the food and beverage manager. She was so easy to work with and went out of her way to make this event special. We wanted sourced beers that matched the location which she found. In addition, we wanted a specialty cocktail drink using a smoke filled bubble and Cheyanne was more than accommodating to make that happen. We got so lucky when Cheyanne was able to work our event. She was amazing to our guests and the bar was hopping. Huge thanks to Cheyanne for all her hard work.||Our room block was handled so well with constant updates from Florina. Some guests did not make the deadline to book their room and were still able to get the rate which was so kind. Everyone enjoyed their stay and especially loved the hospitality suite we set up. The staff was responsive, the rooms clean and the property very well maintained. ||Thank you Juana, Liam, Andrew, Cheyanne and Florina for all that you did to make the wedding weekend perfect! I would highly recommend anyone hold an event at the Redondo Beach Hotel. You will have an amazing experience...
